Critical Groups and Partitions of Finite Groups
We define a class of finite groups based on the properties of the closed twins of their power graphs and study the structure of those groups. As a byproduct, we obtain results about finite groups admitting a partition by cyclic subgroups.

The critical group of a combinatorial map [PDF]
Motivated by the appearance of embeddings in the theory of chip firing and the critical group of a graph, we introduce a version of the critical group (or sandpile group) for combinatorial maps, that is, for graphs embedded in orientable surfaces. We provide several definitions of our critical group, by approaching it through analogues of the cycle ...

Critical exponents for groups of isometries [PDF]
Let \(\Gamma\) be a free group acting by isometries on a \(\text{CAT}(-1)\) space \((X,d_X)\) as a convex co-compact group and let \(\Gamma_0\) be a normal subgroup. The author shows that if the quotient group \(\Gamma/\Gamma_0\) is amenable, then \(\delta(\Gamma_0)=\delta(\Gamma)\).

ABSTRACT Pediatric radiation therapy presents unique challenges compared to adult treatments, including those of immobilization, potential need for sedation, and the critical importance of accurate, reproducible positioning. Additionally, heightened attention to imaging doses is necessary to minimize long‐term toxicity in survivors.
