INTEGRATED CROP-LIVESTOCK-FOREST SYSTEM FOR SHEEPS AND GOATS

open access: yesCientífic@ - Multidisciplinary Journal, 2018
The Crop-Livestock-Forest Integration (ILPF) is a soil management that, if conducted with the recommended technical and agronomic principles, allows the maximization of productivity leveraged by sustainability. The chemical, physical and biological attributes of the soil should be evaluated, based on soil and water management and conservation needs, as

EUCALIPYTUS LITTER CONTRIBUTION TO THE INTEGRATED CROP-LIVESTOCK SYSTEM

open access: yesFLORESTA, 2019
The aim of this study is to assess eucalyptus litter and nutrient deposition on a monthly basis, at the age 47 to 58 years, in integrated eucalyptus with crop system (ICF), eucalyptus with livestock (ILF) and eucalyptus monoculture (F). Integration system data were compared through t test and compared to eucalyptus monoculture through ANAVA and Duncan ...

Framework for Mapping Integrated Crop-Livestock Systems in Mato Grosso, Brazil [PDF]

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2018
Integrated crop-livestock (ICL) systems combine livestock and crop production in the same area, increasing the efficiency of land use and machinery, while mitigating greenhouse gas emissions, and reducing production risks, plant diseases and pests. ICL systems are primarily divided into annual (ICLa) and multi-annual (ICLm) systems.

A Functionally Conserved Enhancer is Critical for PGC1A Expression and Thermogenesis in Brown Fat

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An evolutionarily conserved enhancer controls PGC1A expression and thermogenic activation in brown adipose tissue. Integrative multi‐omics analyses identify two BAT‐specific enhancers, with PGC1A‐En1 functioning as the dominant regulatory element that maintains thermogenic capacity across species.

Activation of ERBB4 Pathway Inhibits Pathological Transdifferentiation of Lung Epithelial Progenitors into CD66c+ Basal Cells in Severe Lung Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In fibrotic distal lung regions, CD66c+ basal cells emerge as a pathological state. Using human distal lung organoids, this study identifies CD66c+ basal cells as a pro‐fibrotic state arising through transdifferentiation from secretory, AT2, and basal cells.
