Suitability of different crops and cropping systems for contingency crop planning
The experiment was conducted at the Dry Land Agricultural Research Centre, Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Agricultural University, Parbhani during Kharif and Rabi seasons of 2006-2007 and 2007-2008. Eight different promising cropping systems of important crop of Marathwada region were tested in varied weather condition under rain fed agriculture. At the

Coagulative granular hydrogels are composed of packed thrombin‐functionalized microgels that catalyze the conversion of fibrinogen into a secondary fibrin network, filling the interstitial voids. This bio‐inspired approach stabilizes the biomaterial to match the robustness of bulk hydrogels without compromising injectability, mimicking the initial ...

Mechanically Programmable DNA Hydrogel Microparticles for 3D Cellular Systems
DNA hydrogel microparticles are designed to exhibit controllable viscoelasticity and stiffness across three orders of magnitude from 30Pa$30 \,\mathrm{Pa}$ to 6.5kPa$6.5 \,\mathrm{kPa}$. They are uptaken into fibroblast spheroids where they are actively remodeled by cellular forces depending on their mechanical properties.

Ratiometric Mycotoxin Detection in Living Plants With Dual‐Emissive Nanosensors
A minimally invasive microneedle patch integrates carbon dot‐embedded metal–organic frameworks as nanosensors to detect a key fungal toxin in living plants. The nanosensor produces a ratiometric fluorescence signal that enables early, non‐destructive diagnosis of fungal infection before visible symptoms, offering a new biomaterials‐based strategy for ...
