Cross-Correlation of Diffuse Synchrotron and Large-Scale Structures
We explore for the first time the method of cross-correlation of radio synchrotron emission and tracers of large-scale structure in order to detect the diffuse IGM/WHIM.

Weighted network analysis of high frequency cross-correlation measures [PDF]
In this paper we implement a Fourier method to estimate high-frequency correlation matrices from small data sets. The Fourier estimates are shown to be considerably less noisy than the standard Pearson correlation measures and thus capable of detecting ...

A rigorous and efficient asymptotic test for power-law cross-correlation [PDF]
Podobnik and Stanley recently proposed a novel framework, Detrended Cross-Correlation Analysis, for the analysis of power-law cross-correlation between two time-series, a phenomenon which occurs widely in physical, geophysical, financial and numerous ...

Implementation of a Fourier Matched Filter in CMB Analyses. Application to ISW Studies
Aims: Implement a matched filter (MF) cross-correlation algorithm in multipole space and compare it to the standard Angular Cross Power Spectrum (ACPS) method.

Cross-correlation in face discrimination
An extensive body of literature suggests that face perception depends critically upon specialised face processing mechanisms. Although it seems clear that specialised face processing is required to explain face recognition, face discrimination is a simpler task that could possibly be solved with a general pattern discrimination mechanism.

DCCA cross-correlation coefficient: Quantifying level of cross-correlation
Abstract In this paper, a new coefficient is proposed with the objective of quantifying the level of cross-correlation between nonstationary time series. This cross-correlation coefficient is defined in terms of the DFA method and the DCCA method. The implementation of this cross-correlation coefficient will be illustrated with selected time series.

The cross-correlation between galaxies of different luminosities and Colors [PDF]
We study the cross-correlation between galaxies of different luminosities and colors, using a sample selected from the SDSS Dr 4. Galaxies are divided into 6 samples according to luminosity, and each of these samples is divided into red and blue ...

Performance Evaluation of The Industrial Resilience Index by Using Cross-Correlation Method
This paper shows how resilience-based measurements, Industrial Resilience Index (IRI), is able to indicate the performance trend of general manufacturing, measured in Gross Domestic Product (GDP), impacted by shocks represented by the value drops of ...
