Enhancing Trust in Online Reviews: A Cross-Domain Fake Review Detection Framework Using Generative AI

open access: yesApplied Computer Systems
Online reviews influence consumer decisions in e-commerce but are threatened by deceptive content. Detecting these fake reviews across domains remains challenging due to limited labelled data, class imbalance, and domain-specific bias. This work proposes

STOD: Towards Scalable Task-Oriented Dialogue System on MultiWOZ-API

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Task-oriented dialogue systems (TODs) enable users to complete specific goals and are widely used in practice. Although existing models have achieved delightful performance for single-domain dialogues, scalability to new domains is far from well explored.

Cross-Domain Concept formation using HR

open access: yes, 1999
Many interesting and valuable concepts in mathematics are essentially `cross-domain' in nature, i.e. they relate objects, ideas and theories from more than one area of mathematics.

Versatile vector tools for efficient protein screening across multiple expression systems

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
A unified vector toolkit enables rapid protein expression screening across E. coli, insect, and mammalian cells. A single primer pair amplifies the target gene, which is inserted into any vector via a standardized interface. This streamlined workflow eliminates repeated cloning steps, accelerating the identification of optimal expression conditions for

Cyclic azapeptide CD36 ligand attenuates cardiac injury and reduces long‐chain fatty acid accumulation after myocardial ischemia–reperfusion in mice

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.

Pathways and pitfalls: a qualitative study of student experiences in biomedical science education

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Biomedical science students from underrepresented backgrounds face barriers including financial strain, disrupted laboratory access and cultural exclusion. Peer networks provide vital support when institutional systems are difficult to navigate. To create inclusive learning environments and achieve academic success, educators should blend active, hands‐
