Hyperentanglement concentration of nonlocal two-photon six-qubit systems via the cross-Kerr nonlinearity [PDF]
We present an efficient hyperentanglement concentration protocol (hyper-ECP) for two-photon six-qubit systems in nonlocal partially hyperentangled Bell states with unknown parameters.

Quantum entanglement will play an important role in future quantum technologies. Here, we theoretically study the steady-state entanglement between a cavity field and a macroscopic rotating mirror in a Laguerre–Gaussian-(LG)-cavity optomechanical system ...

Scheme for generation of three-photon entangled W state assisted by cross-Kerr nonlinearity and quantum dot [PDF]
We represent an optical scheme using cross-Kerr nonlinearities (XKNLs) and quantum dot (QD) within a single-sided optical cavity (QD-cavity system) to generate three-photon entangled W state containing entanglement against loss of one photon of them.

Optical scheme for generating hyperentanglement having photonic qubit and time-bin via quantum dot and cross-Kerr nonlinearity [PDF]
We design an optical scheme to generate hyperentanglement correlated with degrees of freedom (DOFs) via quantum dots (QDs), weak cross-Kerr nonlinearities (XKNLs), and linearly optical apparatuses (including time-bin encoders).

Strong micro-macro entanglement from a weak cross-Kerr nonlinearity [PDF]
We study the entanglement generated by a weak cross-Kerr nonlinearity between two initial coherent states, one of which has an amplitude close to the single-photon level, while the other one is macroscopic. We show that strong micro-macro entanglement is possible for weak phase shifts by choosing the amplitude of the macroscopic beam sufficiently large.

Hyper-parallel nonlocal CNOT operation with hyperentanglement assisted by cross-Kerr nonlinearity. [PDF]
AbstractImplementing CNOT operation nonlocally is one of central tasks in distributed quantum computation. Most of previously protocols for implementation quantum CNOT operation only consider implement CNOT operation in one degree of freedom(DOF).

Terahertz electromagnetically induced optical limiter in asymmetric coupled quantum wells [PDF]
This paper explores the optical limiting (OL) characteristics of an input probe field within a closed-loop asymmetric coupled quantum well (ACQW) system. Our research reveals that the application of Terahertz (THz) coupling laser fields can induce the OL

Cross-Kerr nonlinearity: a stability analysis [PDF]
AbstractWe analyse the combined effect of the radiation-pressure and cross-Kerr nonlinearity on the stationary solution of the dynamics of a nanomechanical resonator interacting with an electromagnetic cavity. Within this setup,we show how the optical bistability picture induced by the radiation-pressure force is modi fied by the presence of the cross ...
