Cross-Lingual Document Clustering [PDF]
The ever-increasing numbers of Web-accessible documents are available in languages other than English. The management of these heterogeneous document collections has posed a challenge. This paper proposes a novel model, called a domain alignment translation model, to conduct cross-lingual document clustering.

Cross-lingual relevance models [PDF]
We propose a formal model of Cross-Language Information Retrieval that does not rely on either query translation or document translation. Our approach leverages recent advances in language modeling to directly estimate an accurate topic model in the target language, starting with a query in the source language.

Multilingual Knowledge Graph Embeddings for Cross-lingual Knowledge Alignment [PDF]
Many recent works have demonstrated the benefits of knowledge graph embeddings in completing monolingual knowledge graphs. Inasmuch as related knowledge bases are built in several different languages, achieving cross-lingual knowledge alignment will help
