Cross-media correlation

Proceedings of the tenth ACM international conference on Multimedia, 2002
The research issues on multiple media correlation have arisen with more and more integrated multimedia applications. The multimedia correlation is used to coordinate different media and facilitate cross-media access. This paper presents our work on two types of multimedia correlation: explicit and implicit relations.

Cross-Correlation Cartography

2010 International Conference on Reconfigurable Computing and FPGAs, 2010
Side channel and fault injection attacks are a major threat to cryptographic applications of embedded systems. Best performances for these attacks are achieved by focusing sensors or injectors on the sensible parts of the application, by means of dedicated methods to localise them.

ENDOGENOUS CROSS CORRELATIONS

Macroeconomic Dynamics, 2007
This paper studies the relationship between rational herding and cross correlations in security returns. It demonstrates analytically and numerically that herding, as a temporary, fragile convergence of investment behavior, can endogenously induce asset dependency.

CROSS‐CORRELATION FILTERING

GEOPHYSICS, 1954
Correlation analysis techniques may be applied to seismic data already subjected to standard recording and analysis procedure in an effort to extract additional information, or to raw data as an alternative filtering method. These techniques involve determination of certain parameters which provide a quantitative measure of the correlation between two

Inverse-Fluorescence Cross-Correlation Spectroscopy

Analytical Chemistry, 2010
Inverse-fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (iFCS) was recently introduced as an alternative version of FCS that does not require labeling of the analyzed particles or biomolecules. In iFCS, the signal from a medium surrounding the particles is analyzed, as opposed to a signal from the studied particles themselves.

Shaper-assisted ultraviolet cross correlator

Optics Letters, 2010
We successfully demonstrate the characterization of phase- and amplitude-modulated broadband UV pulses with a shaper-assisted cross-correlation setup. A two-dimensional pulse modulator, operated in the diffractive shaping mode, is used to generate an inherently temporally overlapped reference beam.

Spatial fluorescence cross-correlation spectroscopy

Applied Optics, 2006
We present an alternative method for diffusion measurements of fluorescent species in solution by use of confocal microscopy and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy techniques. It consists of making a time and spatial dual correlation in which one detects the fluorescence signals from two nearby separate confocal volumes and cross correlates them. To

A Fast SEQUEST Cross Correlation Algorithm

Journal of Proteome Research, 2008
The SEQUEST program was the first and remains one of the most widely used tools for assigning a peptide sequence within a database to a tandem mass spectrum. The cross correlation score is the primary score function implemented within SEQUEST and it is this score that makes the tool particularly sensitive.

Correlatives Cross-Linguistically

2009
This volume brings together recent work in generative syntax on correlative relative constructions. Greatly expanding on the Hindi-oriented scope of previous studies, it describes and analyzes correlative constructions in a range of languages, such as Basque, Dutch, Hungarian, Polish, Sanskrit, Serbo-Croatian and Tibetan, in comparison to ...
