A Fast SEQUEST Cross Correlation Algorithm
Journal of Proteome Research, 2008The SEQUEST program was the first and remains one of the most widely used tools for assigning a peptide sequence within a database to a tandem mass spectrum. The cross correlation score is the primary score function implemented within SEQUEST and it is this score that makes the tool particularly sensitive.

Macroeconomic Dynamics, 2007
This paper studies the relationship between rational herding and cross correlations in security returns. It demonstrates analytically and numerically that herding, as a temporary, fragile convergence of investment behavior, can endogenously induce asset dependency.

Abstract Correlation analysis techniques may be applied to seismic data already subjected to standard recording and analysis procedure in an effort to extract additional information, or to raw data as an alternative filtering method. These techniques involve determination of certain parameters which provide a quantitative measure of ...

Correlation in instruments: cross correlation flowmeters
Journal of Physics E: Scientific Instruments, 1981The basic principles are briefly explained, showing how cross correlation can be used to identify dynamic characteristics of a wide range of telecommunication, structural and process systems. The main emphasis of the paper is on cross correlation flowmeters, which are developing to a stage where they can successfully solve industrial and environmental ...

Cross-correlation analysis in FCS
2001The concept of cross-correlation spectroscopy actually follows as a logical consequence if one wants to extend the common established fluorescence autocorrelation analysis to achieve a larger detection specificity. Instead of mathematically comparing, i.e.

Correlatives Cross-Linguistically
2009This volume brings together recent work in generative syntax on correlative relative constructions. Greatly expanding on the Hindi-oriented scope of previous studies, it describes and analyzes correlative constructions in a range of languages, such as Basque, Dutch, Hungarian, Polish, Sanskrit, Serbo-Croatian and Tibetan, in comparison to ...
