Conservation Science and Practice, EarlyView.Felids feature heavily in the wildlife trade, and an investigation into LEMIS data from 2000 to 2020 showed felid imports were dominated by bobcats and Canada lynx for fur, while tigers and leopards were the most commonly traded cats in the illegal market, primarily as medicinal products.
