Internal Crossed Modules

Georgian Mathematical Journal, 2003
Abstract We introduce the notion of (pre)crossed module in a semiabelian category, and establish equivalences between internal reflexive graphs and precrossed modules, and between internal categories and crossed modules.

Fibrations of 2‐crossed modules

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, 2018
In this study, we mainly show that the functor from the category X2Mod of 2‐crossed modules of groups to the category Groups of groups assigning to each 2‐crossed module the group P, and to each 2‐crossed module morphism the group homomorphism f0 is a fibration. In addition, we study some related properties.

Pseudo Simplicial Algebras, Crossed Modules and 2-Crossed Modules

open access: yes, 2022
In this paper we define pseudo 2-crossed module of commutative algebras and we give relations between the pseudo 2-crossed modules ofcommutative algebras and pseudo simplicial algebras with Moore complex of length 2.

Group-groupoid actions and liftings of crossed modules

open access: yesGeorgian Mathematical Journal, 2019
The aim of this paper is to define the notion of lifting via a group morphism for a crossed module and give some properties of this type of liftings. Further, we obtain a criterion for a crossed module to have a lifting crossed module. We also prove that

Crossed modules and doi-hopf modules

Israel Journal of Mathematics, 1997
The main result of this paper is that crossed modules (also known as Yetter-Drinfeld modules) are particular cases of Doi's unified Hopf modules. A generalization of crossed modules is introduced to this end, and a generalization of the Drinfeld double is defined. The latter turns out to be isomorphic to a (generalized) smash product.

Annihilators, Multipliers and Crossed Modules

Applied Categorical Structures, 2003
Actor squares for a crossed module of groups were introduced by \textit{K. Norrie} [Bull. Soc. Math. Fr. 118, 129--146 (1990; Zbl 0719.20018)] as an analogue of automorphism groups. Like many of the concepts and tools of group based crossed module theory, the actor square can be generalised to various other types of crossed module.
