Optimalisasi Sifat Reologi Hidrogel Kitosan-Hialuronat yang Ditaut-Silang dengan Glutaraldehida

open access: yesAlchemy, 2019
Kitosan membentuk hidrogel polikationik dengan penambahan glutaraldehida sebagai penaut-silang. Penambahan hialuronat yang bersifat polianionik diharapkan akan meningkatkan sifat reologis hidrogel tersebut.

Simplex lattice design for the development of arrowroot starch and sodium alginate with calcium chloride crosslinker as a capsule shell alternative

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Pharmaceutical Technology & Research
Gelatin, commonly used for capsule shells, is mostly imported from Europe and America to Indonesia. However, Indonesia’s rich biodiversity offers abundant natural alternatives like arrowroot and alginate.

Gum Tragacanth Gels as a New Supporting Matrix for Immobilization of Whole-Cell [PDF]

open access: yesIranian Journal of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, 2005
We introduce a new smooth, non-toxic, biocompatible method for cross-linking of gum tragacanth (GT), a polysaccharide of natural origin, in order to serve as a new supporting matrix for immobilization systems.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Rheological Comparison of Silicone Rubber Crosslinking with Platinum Catalysts and Triethylamine, Methanol & Ethanolamine Solvents

open access: yesIranian Journal of Materials Science and Engineering, 2021
The control of silicone rubber’s viscoelastic properties namely loss factor, storage and loss moduli during crosslinking are crucial as its malleable behaviour changes differently under different conditions and affecting the final product.

The biomechanical fundamentals of crosslink-augmentation in posterior spinal instrumentation

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2022
Posterior screw-rod constructs can be used to stabilize spinal segments; however, the stiffness is not absolute, and some motion can persist. While the effect of crosslink-augmentation has been evaluated in multiple studies, the fundamental explanation ...

Recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming and confer resistance to targeted therapies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.
