InSb, a narrow‐bandgap semiconductor with high carrier mobility, is promising for thermoelectric energy conversion but suffers from high lattice thermal conductivity and strong bipolar conduction. Here, in situ interface engineering using Co2O3 nanoprecursors forms hierarchical CoSbx/In2O3/CoSb3 heterostructures that enhance phonon scattering and ...

Chirality and Organization of Adsorbates Modify Surface Phonon Dynamics
Chirality and molecular organization are shown to influence surface phonon dynamics in gold films. Time‐resolved Joule heating measurements reveal that ordered homochiral monolayers increase the Debye temperature and disordered layers reduce it, while ordered racemic controls have no effect.

A fluorine‐rich acrylate monomer (PFHEA) was solvent‐free applied to NCM90 and thermally decomposed under Ar to convert residual lithium into LiF and form a pre‐built LiF/fluorinated amorphous carbon (LiF/FC) interphase. The LiF/FC layer suppresses NiO rock‐salt reconstruction and microcrack propagation, lowers interfacial resistance, and improves Li ...

Non-specific abdominal pain and air pollution: a novel association. [PDF]
We studied whether short-term exposure to air pollution was associated with non-specific abdominal pain in epidemiologic and animal studies. Patients visiting the emergency department with non-specific abdominal pain were identified in Edmonton (1992 to

Controlling the exposed crystal facet of shape‐controlled Au‐Pd core‐shell catalysts though colloidal synthesis enhances their catalytic performance in the industrially relevant selective hydrogenation of butadiene. ABSTRACT Selective hydrogenation of butadiene is a critical step in purification of alkene feedstocks for polymer production and is ...

Nonequivalent Antiferromagnetically Coupled Sublattices Induce Two-Step Spin-Crossover Transitions: Equilibrium and Nonequilibrium Aspects [PDF]
As a continuation to the previously published work (Yalçın et al. (2022)), we investigate the equilibrium and nonequilibrium properties of the spin-crossover systems, with a specific focus on the nonequivalent sublattice, and compare these ...

Large Transverse Thermoelectric Effect in Weyl Semimetal TaIrTe4 Engineered for Photodetection
This experimental work shows that the anomalous scanning photocurrent response patterns of the Weyl semimetal TaIrTe4${\rm TaIrTe}_4$ under visible and long‐wave infrared illumination are due to a large transverse thermoelectric response of the material.
