Filtering and Anti-crosstalk Characteristics of Cluster Submarine Cables in Marginal Oilfields
In order to achieve higher economic benefits ,marginal oil fields often adopt “ one to many ”IEESP system for development, and bundled submarine cables play an important role in it.

Crosstalk Correction in Atomic Force Microscopy
Commercial atomic force microscopes usually use a four-segmented photodiode to detect the motion of the cantilever via laser beam deflection. This read-out technique enables to measure bending and torsion of the cantilever separately.

Emerging role of ARHGAP29 in melanoma cell phenotype switching
This study gives first insights into the role of ARHGAP29 in malignant melanoma. ARHGAP29 was revealed to be connected to tumor cell plasticity, promoting a mesenchymal‐like, invasive phenotype and driving tumor progression. Further, it modulates cell spreading by influencing RhoA/ROCK signaling and affects SMAD2 activity. Rho GTPase‐activating protein

Efficient orthogonal control of tunnel couplings in a quantum dot array
Electrostatically-defined semiconductor quantum dot arrays offer a promising platform for quantum computation and quantum simulation. However, crosstalk of gate voltages to dot potentials and inter-dot tunnel couplings complicates the tuning of the ...

This study investigated how PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) indirectly affects multiple myeloma (MM) cell metabolism and viability. Culturing MM cells in conditioned medium from PYCR1‐silenced BMSCs impaired oxidative phosphorylation and increased sensitivity to bortezomib.

Glomerular cell crosstalk [PDF]
Glomerular filtration occurs in specialized, microscopic organelles. Each glomerulus contains unique cells and these cooperate to maintain normal filtration. Phenomenal adaptation is required for the glomerulus to respond to variable mechanical loads and this adaptation requires efficient communication between the resident cells. This review will focus

Genetic testing in epithelial ovarian cancer includes both germline and tumor‐testing. This approach often duplicates resources. The current prospective study assessed the feasibility of tumor‐first multigene testing by comparing tumor tissue with germline testing of peripheral blood using an 18‐gene NGS panel in 106 patients.

Optimization of a programmable λ/2-pitch optical phased array
A challenge in optical phased arrays (OPAs) is to achieve single-lobe emission using densely spaced emitters without incurring inter-waveguide optical crosstalk.

Investigation of Accurate Far-End Crosstalk Modeling in Metallic Cables [PDF]
Crosstalk and especially far-end crosstalk (FEXT) represents the most serious source of disturbance in today’s digital transmission systems. It mostly limits the information capacity of current xDSL digital subscriber lines and also of local data ...

AbstractEncephalopathy and altered higher mental functions are common clinical complications of acute kidney injury. Although sepsis is a major triggering factor, acute kidney injury predisposes to confusion by causing generalised inflammation, leading to increased permeability of the blood–brain barrier, exacerbated by hyperosmolarity and metabolic ...
