Transient Crosstalk in LCOS Based WSS and a Method to Suppress the Crosstalk Levels

Optical Fiber Communication Conference/National Fiber Optic Engineers Conference 2013, 2013
The origin of the transient crosstalk (TC) in a phase-only LCOS based WSS using a Fourier transform setup was investigated and identified. Two methods were proposed to reduce the TC by at least 5dB without the need to modify the optics or electronics in use.

Interference suppression in communication systems with controlled crosstalk

WCNC. 1999 IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (Cat. No.99TH8466), 2003
In this paper, we consider the problem of fitting two users into a channel normally occupied by one user. The users share the same physical channel, but crosstalk is controlled. A linear receiver, which maximizes the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is employed, and several well known time-limited symbol waveforms are tested. Performance analysis shows that

Barbed transmission lines for crosstalk suppression

2012 Asia-Pacific Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 2012
As the increasing demand of small form factor and low-cost package drives the interconnect density, crosstalk noise due to the parasitic components set the limitation in off-die high speed signaling. This paper presents a barbed transmission line design to eliminate the far-end crosstalk by adding periodical stubs on the original microstrip structures.

SUPPRESSION OF RAMAN CROSSTALK IN WDM SYSTEMS

Optical Amplifiers and Their Applications, 1995
Stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) crosstalk has been recently shown to severely limit ultrahigh-capacity long-haul optical communication systems [1]. In this paper SRS crosstalk in intensity- modulated WDM systems is analyzed including modulation statistics of multiple channels in presence of chromatic dispersion.

Crosstalk-Suppressed Readout System Using A Shading Band

Joint International Symposium on Optical Memory and Optical Data Storage, 1996
As multimedia becomes more common in computer usage, stored information is changing from still images to moving pictures. As a result, higher density storage is required in optical disk systems. One method of increasing recording density is to narrow the track pitch; however, this increases crosstalk from adjacent tracks during playback.

Nonlinear Crosstalk Suppression in WDM-SCM Systems

International Journal of Infrared and Millimeter Waves, 2002
The mechanism of nonlinear crosstalk in WDM-SCM fiber communication systems is investigated. Then the crosstalk suppression method of complementary modulation of twin carriers is introduced and discussed. Aiming at the limitation of this method, a new method named symmetric carrier complementary modulation is presented, and it has shown satisfactory ...

Adjustable crosstalk and blooming suppression in imaging devices

IEEE Electron Device Letters, 1985
Optical and electrical crosstalk performance of pixels in an integrated p-i-n photocapacitor matrix using RIE grooving of epitaxial Si wafers for isolations has been analyzed. Filled deep trench isolation in the optical devices not only resulted in superior crosstalk and blooming suppression as compared to reported conventional techniques but also ...

Development of a Crosstalk Suppression Algorithm for KID Readout

Journal of Low Temperature Physics, 2018
The GroundBIRD telescope aims to detect B-mode polarization of the cosmic microwave background radiation using the kinetic inductance detector array as a polarimeter. For the readout of the signal from detector array, we have developed a frequency division multiplexing readout system based on a digital down converter method. These techniques in general

Crosstalk Suppression for Modulated Subcarrier Measurement Systems

17th European Microwave Conference, 1987, 1987
A double modulation technique to reduce both low frequency crosstalk and RF-crosstalk in modulated measurement systems has been developed. The modulation concept uses two double balanced mixers as modulators, which are driven by appropriate signals to yield a high crosstalk suppression.

10.2: Crosstalk Suppression by Image Processing in 3D Display

SID Symposium Digest of Technical Papers, 2010
Abstract We proposed a Digital Crosstalk Reduction DCR method to suppress optical crosstalk in 3D display without using any extra hardware components. Furthermore, DCR method can be applied to most of the 3D display technologies. In this paper, a 17inch pattern retarder stereoscopic display and a 12views autostereoscopic display were ...
