Flavonoids of crotalaria sessiliflora
Archives of Pharmacal Research, 2004Phytochemical investigation of the whole plants of Crotalaria sessiliflora L. led to the isolation of four flavonoids. The structures of these compounds were identified as 2',4',5,7-tetrahydroxyisoflavone (1), 2',4',7-trihydroxyisoflavone (2), 4',7-dihydroxyflavone (3), and isovitexin (4) using spectroscopic analysis.

New Pterocarpanoids of Crotalaria pallida and Crotalaria assamica
Helvetica Chimica Acta, 2002Four new pterocarpanoids crotafurans A (1), B (2), C (3), and D (4) were isolated from the bark of Crotalaria pallida and the seeds of the C. assamica, respectively. The structures, including relative configurations were elucidated by spectroscopic data.

Crotalaria spectabilis Poisoning in Swine
Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association, 1974SUMMARY When a ration containing corn contaminated by Crotalaria spectabilis seeds was fed to a herd of swine, 76 of 150 pigs died. Deaths first occurred 6 weeks after initial consumption of the ration and 3 weeks after the loss of black hair, the 1st clinical sign observed.
