Expressão da resistência parcial à ferrugem da folha da aveia presente na linhagem MN841801, no ambiente do Sul do Brasil Expression of partial resistance to oat crown rust present in the lineage MN841801 submitted to the South Brazilian environment

Magnesium fertilisation enhanced forage yield primarily in tetraploid perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.)

open access: yesActa Agriculturae Scandinavica. Section B, Soil and Plant Science
Magnesium (Mg) plays a crucial role in determining the yield and forage quality of perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.), and its deficiency can impair animal health, however its effect remains underexplored, in several regions where Mg deficiency is ...

Low‐Velocity Impact Response of Nacre‐Inspired E‐Glass/Epoxy Composites With Varying Platelet Sizes

open access: yesPolymer Composites, Volume 47, Issue 3, Page 2781-2798, 10 February 2026.
Impact response of nacre‐inspired E‐glass/epoxy composites with different platelet sizes. ABSTRACT This study explores the low‐velocity impact behavior of nacre‐inspired biomimetic platelet composites (NIBPC), using low‐cost E‐glass fiber in chopped strand mat (CSM) form as reinforcement and epoxy resin as the matrix.

Development and validation of a quantitative PCR assay method of assessing relative resistance of oat (Avena sativa) to crown rust (Puccinia coronata f. sp. avenae)

open access: yesPlant Pathology, 2019
Evaluation of oat crown rust resistance is usually based on visual assessment of disease severity or infection types. Visual assessment is subjective, prone to rater bias and requires expert knowledge.

Biomechanical Evaluation of Framework Materials in All‐on‐Four Versus All‐on‐Six Prostheses: A Finite Element Study

open access: yesClinical and Experimental Dental Research, Volume 12, Issue 1, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Purpose The objective of this study was to biomechanically compare the All‐on‐Four and All‐on‐Six implant configurations combined with various framework materials by assessing stress distribution in peri‐implant bone, implants, and prosthetic structures using finite element analysis (FEA).

The Vulnerability of New Zealand Forage Plants to Incursions by New Pests, Pathogens and Weeds, and the Case for Greater Protection

open access: yesNew Zealand Journal of Agricultural Research, Volume 69, Issue 1, February 2026.
We outline the diversity of pests, weeds and plant pathogens absent from New Zealand that threaten forage production, examine their potential import pathways, and outline the challenges of managing them should they arrive. The number and diversity of threats and pathways indicates ongoing incursions are inevitable.
