DIA-based proteome profiling with PRM verification reveals the involvement of ER-associated protein processing in pollen abortion in Ogura CMS cabbage

open access: yesHorticultural Plant Journal
Ogura cytoplasmic male sterility (Ogura CMS) is extensively applied in hybrid seed production in cruciferous crops. However, the post-transcriptional molecular basis of Ogura CMS in cruciferous crops remains elusive.

Transcriptomic resources and functional validation of RNAi in the cabbage seedpod weevil, Ceutorhynchus obstrictus

open access: yesPest Management Science, EarlyView.
Transcriptome sequencing of Ceutorhynchus obstrictus revealed RNA interference (RNAi) targets; double‐stranded RNA microinjection reduced transcript levels and increased mortality, with αCOP and Rop showing strongest lethal effects, indicating promising RNAi‐based pest control candidates.

Bioactive Natural Products in Cardiovascular Disease: Focus on Thrombotic Events

open access: yesPhytotherapy Research, EarlyView.
An overview of the role of natural products (NP) in cardiovascular disease prevention, highlighting key mechanisms of action: including antiplatelet, antithrombotic, anti‐inflammatory, and antioxidant effects. Additionally, it illustrates the integration of diet–drug interactions, nutritional epigenetics, and the role of artificial intelligence in ...

Diversity of nematode populations on cruciferous and solanaceous crops in Bagmati province of Nepal

open access: yesWorld Journal of Advanced Research and Reviews, 2023
A total of 211 soil samples were collected in different crop fields from 10 districts. Out of 211 samples, 137 samples were diagnosed for different plant parasitic nematodes. The samples were collected from the fields of cruciferous and solanaceous crops. All together twelve different nematodes were identified.

CONTESTED METABOLIC NODES: Shareholding Cooperatives and Planetary Ruralization in China

open access: yesInternational Journal of Urban and Regional Research, EarlyView.
Abstract China's recent shareholding cooperative (SC) reform heralds a shift from expropriation‐led rural change to a post‐expropriation regime in which the countryside is reconstituted through circulation, capitalization, and new forms of collective governance. Existing interpretations, whether framed as market‐driven de‐collectivization, state‐led re‐

Tachinidae (Diptera) as Floral Visitors and Pollinators in Natural and Managed Systems

open access: yesEntomologia Experimentalis et Applicata, EarlyView.
We review the roles of bristle flies (Tachinidae) as pollinators in natural and managed systems. We find that most tachinid genera visit flowers and that floral‐adapted mouthparts have evolved repeatedly many times in the family. We review patterns of floral specificity and assess the efficacy of tachinids as pollinators with case studies.

Airborne multi-spectral imagery for mapping cruciferous weeds in cereal and legume crops

open access: yes, 2013
Cruciferous weeds are competitive broad-leaved species that cause losses in winter crops. In the present study, research on remote sensing was conducted on seven naturally infested fields located in Córdoba and Seville, southern Spain.

Punicalagin‐enriched edible coatings from revalorized pomegranate peels for quality enhancement of fresh‐cut celery

open access: yesJournal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, Volume 106, Issue 13, Page 8226-8236, October 2026.
Abstract BACKGROUND Pomegranate peel is a rich source of phenolics, particularly punicalagin, but its valorization for fresh produce preservation requires stabilization. This study aimed to develop and evaluate freeze‐dried encapsulates of pomegranate peel extracts as ingredients in edible coatings for fresh‐cut celery. Pomegranate peels were extracted
