2D Nonlayered Materials for Transistor Application

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
2D nonlayered materials possess a vast material library and have comprehensive applications in transistors. However, at this stage, they hold great potential, but this potential has seen limited exploration compared to 2D layered materials. This review provides statistics on the nonlayered material library, CVD synthesis and characterization, advances ...

Ultra‐stable calcium ion batteries with Prussian blue nanodisks

open access: yesEcoMat, Volume 5, Issue 2, February 2023., 2023
A particular engineered form of Prussian blue nanodisks is prepared by using a proper amount of iron(III) nitrate, applying an optimum temperature, and sodiating with NaI. Developed with an optimized formulation of PAA/PANI binders, Prussian blue cathodes can extend the life of calcium‐ion batteries, exhibiting an impressive capacity retention of 91 ...

Review of the anatomical basis for predicting plutonium alpha particle radiation induced osteogenic cancers

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Plutonium was discovered and first synthesized in the early 1940's. Several isotopes of plutonium are used in nuclear technologies, 238Pu for heat generation and 239Pu for energy production and weapons. Both isotopes emit alpha particles, which pose a significant radiation hazard when incorporated into the body.

Conditional hazard for simplified multi‐site seismic hazard and risk analyses

open access: yesEarthquake Engineering &Structural Dynamics, Volume 52, Issue 2, Page 482-499, February 2023., 2023
Abstract The joint probability distribution of different intensity measures (IMs)$( {IMs} )$ at different sites in one earthquake is needed to define the stochastic process regulating the exceedance (in time) of the IMs$IMs$ at the ensemble of the sites, which in turn is a funding element of the so‐called multi‐site probabilistic seismic hazard ...

Researches on Application of GPS to Earthquake Monitoring and Prediction [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics, 2007
The earliest researches on application of GPS to earthquake monitoring and prediction in China began in 1980s, and it was limited to learn some relative technology from other countries and do some test with a few of equipments.

Core, Mantle, Crust, Crust, Mantle, Core

open access: yesThe Iowa Review, 2011
In the mirror I'm giving a lecture on geology, but when I touch my mouth, there's just some clay beads standing in for teeth. I think, Yeah, I ate the stamp with the wildflowers, but this is a whole passageway I was hoping to ditch. Dan and Julie are in the next room making out, so I splash some root beer on my face and continue preaching science. This

Genomic Insights Into a Strong Biofilm‐Forming Enterococcus faecalis MTR_EFS01 Strain Isolated From a Shrimp in Bangladesh

open access: yesAnimal Research and One Health, EarlyView.
This study characterizes a multidrug‐resistant and strong biofilm‐forming Enterococcus faecalis strain obtained from a shrimp sample in Bangladesh. ABSTRACT Enterococcus faecalis is known for its ability to form strong biofilms and its role as an opportunistic pathogen. In this study, we screened and characterized a multidrug‐resistant (MDR) and strong
