Gravity inversion constrained by OBS receiver function reveals crustal structure in Ryukyu Trench
The Ryukyu Trench is located in the northern Philippine Sea. The subduction of the Philippine Sea Plate to the Eurasia Plate along the Ryukyu Trench in the NNW direction leads to extremely complex tectonic processes such as subduction, collision ...

Crustal thickness of the Grenville orogen: A Mesoproterozoic Tibet?
AbstractThe Grenville Province on the eastern margin of Laurentia is a remnant of a Mesoproterozoic orogenic plateau that comprised the core of the ancient supercontinent Rodinia. As a protracted Himalayan-style orogen, its orogenic history is vital to understanding Mesoproterozoic tectonics and paleoenvironmental evolution.

Pervasive Crustal Volcanic Mush in the Highly Stretched Sunda Plate Margin of Northern Sumatra
Arc volcanism, crustal deformation, and their interplay are poorly understood in northwestern Sumatra. Traditional receiver function H‐κ stacking studies constrain the variations in crustal thickness and Vp/Vs ratio in volcanic zones but rarely estimate ...

The Spatiotemporal Genetic Architecture of Seed Vigor in Upland Cotton
Leveraging the semi‐automated SeedRanger platform, we profiled the germination kinetics of 356 cotton accessions at a 30‐min interval. This high‐throughput phenomic approach delineated a temporal genetic network comprising 541 stage‐specific loci. Crucially, functional validation identified FLA2 as a pivotal, auxin‐modulated regulator that orchestrates

Near‐axis crustal structure and thickness of the Endeavour Segment, Juan de Fuca Ridge
A model of crustal thickness and lower crustal velocities is obtained for crustal ages of 0.1–1.2 Ma on the Endeavour Segment of the Juan de Fuca Ridge by inverting travel times of crustal paths and non‐ridge‐crossing wide‐angle Moho reflections obtained

We report the solid‐state ball milling, a traditional, reliable, mass‐productive material processing, to prepare the air‐stable and dual‐phase GeSe2‐x nanoparticles with extended photodetection feasibility toward optical‐wavelength regions. We further display photonic multi‐valued logic (MVL) circuit through the employment of a hybrid PMMA/GeSe2‐x ...

The observed variations in the thickness of the conductive lithosphere, derived from surface wave studies, have a first‐order control on the elevation of the continents, in addition to variations in the thickness of the crust—this defines whole ...

Probing layered arc crust in the Lesser Antilles using receiver functions [PDF]
Oceanic arcs can provide insight into the processes of crustal growth and crustal structure. In this work, changes in crustal thickness and composition along the Lesser Antilles Arc (LAA) are analysed at 10 islands using receiver function (RF) inversions
