Detection and characterization of antigen‐specific T cells are important for studying immune responses upon infection, vaccination, or autoreactivity. The activation‐induced marker (AIM) assay is a robust technique to identify and characterize antigen‐specific CD4 and CD8 T cells. However, there is variability in the AIM assay, particularly in the type

Bayesian Regularized Neural Network for Prediction of the Dose in Gamma Irradiated Milk Products
Gamma irradiation is a well-known method for sterilizing different foodstuffs, including fresh cow milk. Many studies witness that the low dose irradiation of milk and milk products affects the fractions of the milk protein, thus reducing its allergenic ...

ABSTRACT Coral reefs are among the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth, yet they are rapidly declining due to climate change and other anthropogenic stressors. Population reductions threaten sexual reproduction in sessile coral species, as increased distances between colonies hinder gamete encounters.

An electrochemical biosensor for Zika virus (ZIKV) detection is described. A DNA probe was immobilized on a gold electrode. After hybridization with the target (ZIKV), safranin was used as an intercalating indicator. Detection was performed by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), where the current signal increases with the target concentration.

Abstract Three blue‐ice areas in the upper reaches of Rennick Glacier, East Antarctica, are investigated using satellite remote sensing to assess the influence of meso‐ to large‐scale glaciological structures on cryoconite hole distributions. In total, 15,299 cryoconite holes and 1 600 structures were geospatially analyzed, which indicate that ...

Characterization of the Lipid Profile of Immature and In Vitro Matured Cat Oocytes
ABSTRACT Forskolin (FSK), l‐carnitine (LC), and Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) are lipid modulators that reduce cellular lipid content. This study characterizes the lipid profile and mRNA content of immature and in vitro matured cat oocytes with or without a MIX of these modulators. Ovaries were collected, COC retrieved, and allocated into three groups:

Small and large EVs isolated from human follicular fluid using SEC and TFF exhibited differences in size, abundance, tetraspanin colocalisation and short non‐coding RNA cargo. These EV subpopulations had divergent effects on the KGN granulosa cell line: small EVs significantly altered the expression of genes linked to the extracellular matrix (ECM ...
