Super‐Resolution Ultrasound Based Cell Tracking With Polymeric Nanobubbles

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a super‐resolution ultrasound platform for tracking cells in vivo. Biocompatible polymeric nanobubbles are used as highly echogenic intracellular labels. Following the injection of cells and microbubbles, ultrasound localization microscopy (ULM) can dynamically match the microvascular architecture and individual cell trajectories ...

Low Resistance Interphase Formation at the PEO‐LiTFSI|LGPS Interface in Lithium Solid‐State Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Interfacial charge transfer and low‐resistance interphase formation between PEO‐based polymer and Li10GeP2S12 solid electrolytes are investigated using multi‐electrode impedance spectroscopy and advanced analytical techniques such as XPS and ToF‐SIMS.

Evaluation du système de stockage de l'hydrogène sous forme de liquide organique transporteur d'hydrogène (LOHC)

open access: yes, 2023
Hydrogen is an excellent energy vector to compensate for the intermittence of renewable energies, if it is stored and transported safely at low cost.

Large‐Scale and Cost‐Effective Fabrication of Ultra‐Thin, Biodegradable Microelectrode Arrays and Pressure Sensors Using Laser Micromachining

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A mask‐free and cost‐effective UV‐pico‐second laser‐based microfabrication method is proposed to fabricate large‐area biodegradable microelectrode arrays and pressure sensors. These devices demonstrate low impedance, good conformability, excellent biocompatibility, and rapid degradation, providing a new route for next‐generation transient electronics ...

Cryogen based energy storage: process modelling and optimisation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Reliable operation of large scale electric power networks requires a balance of generation and end-user. The electricity markets mainly depend on the real-time balance of supply and demand because no sufficient power storage is available at present.

Impact of advanced blade configuration on small scale cryogenic axial turbine performance

open access: yes, 2016
Cryogenic Energy Storage (CES) technology which uses liquid air/nitrogen as energy carrier has attracted considerable attention recently due to its high exergy density (762kJ/kg) compared to other energy storage technologies. Liquid air/nitrogen occupies

Transducers Across Scales and Frequencies: A System‐Level Framework for Multiphysics Integration and Co‐Design

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Transducers convert physical signals into electrical and optical representations, yet each mechanism is bounded by intrinsic trade‐offs across bandwidth, sensitivity, speed, and energy. This review maps transduction mechanisms across physical scale and frequency, showing how heterogeneous integration and multiphysics co‐design transform isolated ...

Photodissociation et dynamique de relaxation de monomères et dimères de petits hydrocarbures aromatiques polycycliques (HAP) stockés dans des anneaux de stockage électrostatiques

open access: yes, 2021
Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) are ubiquitous complex molecules present in different regions of the universe. They are expected to be possible carriers of the unidentified infrared bands and emitters of the diffuse interstellar bands. The energy

High‐Power Rapid Laser‐Induced Synthesis of Multi‐functional Cobalt Metal‐Organic Framework With an Unprecedented Synthesis Efficiency

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Laser‐assisted synthesis enables rapid (within 1 h) and high‐yield (≥90%) production of Co‐MOFs with mesoporous structures, tunable magnetic and optical properties, and efficient adsorption of N2, CH4, and CO2 for low‐energy gas separation. DFT calculations elucidate the electronic structure and adsorption behavior.
