Finite Element Modeling of Microstructural Changes in Turning of AA7075-T651 Alloy and Validation [PDF]
The surface characteristics of a machined product strongly influence its functional performance. During machining, the grain size of the surface is frequently modified, thus the properties of the machined surface are different to that of the original ...

Liquid Crystalline Elastomers in Soft Robotics: Assessing Promise and Limitations
Liquid crystalline elastomers (LCEs) are programmable soft materials that undergo large, anisotropic deformation in response to external stimuli. Their molecular alignment encodes directional actuation in a monolithic structure, making them long‐standing candidates for soft robotic systems.

Inter-Temperature Bandwidth Reduction in Cryogenic QAOA Machines
The bandwidth limit between cryogenic and room-temperature environments is a critical bottleneck in superconducting noisy intermediate-scale quantum computers. This paper presents the first trial of algorithm-aware system-level optimization to solve this issue by targeting the quantum approximate optimization algorithm.

A steric‐hindrance molecular engineering strategy uses dimethyl maleate (DMM) to convert poly(1,4‐butanediol) bis(4‐aminobenzoate) (PBDAB) into a precursor with reduced reactivity via Michael addition, thereby retarding the curing process to form a transparent, ultraflexible, and self‐healable secondary‑amine polyurea (PuSA) with a crosslinked network.
