Single-Trace Side-Channel Attacks on ω-Small Polynomial Sampling: With Applications to NTRU, NTRU Prime, and CRYSTALS-DILITHIUM

open access: yes, 2021
This paper proposes a new single-trace side-channel attack on lattice-based post-quantum protocols. We target the.-small polynomial sampling of NTRU, NTRU Prime, and CRYSTALS-DILITHIUM algorithm implementations (which are NIST Round-3 finalist and ...

Exploiting Small-Norm Polynomial Multiplication with Physical Attacks

open access: yesTransactions on Cryptographic Hardware and Embedded Systems
We present a set of physical profiled attacks against CRYSTALS-Dilithium that accumulate noisy knowledge on secret keys over multiple signatures, finally leading to a full key recovery attack. The methodology is composed of two steps.

Quantum Protocol Architectures and Secure Control Frameworks For 7G+ Networks: Standards, Synchronization, Use Cases, and Challenges

open access: yesAdvanced Quantum Technologies, Volume 9, Issue 5, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Quantum‐native communication systems are reshaping secure, programmable, and coherence‐aware networking beyond the classical paradigm. As intelligent physical infrastructures, ranging from unmanned aerial vehicle swarms to satellite Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) platforms, demand trust, synchronization, and ultra‐reliability, conventional ...

Aryl Viologen Polymers in High‐Voltage Full‐Organic Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2026.
A series of aryl‐viologen polymers is synthesized, and their performance in battery half‐cells is investigated. Pairing the best‐performing polymer with a phenothiazine‐polymer positive electrode creates a full‐organic battery with a high discharge voltage of up to 1.8 V and a specific discharge capacity of 78 mAh g−1.

Protecting Dilithium against Leakage: Revisited Sensitivity Analysis and Improved Implementations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
CRYSTALS-Dilithium has been selected by the NIST as the new stan- dard for post-quantum digital signatures. In this work, we revisit the side-channel countermeasures of Dilithium in three directions.

Privately Generated Key Pairs for Post Quantum Cryptography in a Distributed Network

open access: yesApplied Sciences
In the proposed protocol, a trusted entity interacts with the terminal device of each user to verify the legitimacy of the public keys without having access to the private keys that are generated and kept totally secret by the user.

Trapping an Aryl‐substituted Borete Intermediate in Catalyst‐free 1,5‐Diborocine Synthesis

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, Volume 29, Issue 4, February 1, 2026.
A transient aryl‐substituted borete was trapped as its adduct with 4‐(dimethylamino)pyridine (dmap) and fully characterised. While the dmap adduct is highly kinetically stable, the free borete could not be observed in the absence of dmap. Density‐functional calculations support a rapid dimerisation of the borete via (4 + 4) cycloaddition, yielding a 1 ...

Extended Cycle Life in Lithium‐Ion Batteries through Lithium Supplementation from Li2C4O4@SiO2 Microcapsules

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, Volume 9, Issue 1, January 2026.
The use of Li2C4O4@SiO2 microcapsules, in which Li2C4O4 serves as an additional source of lithium ions and the porous SiO2 shell shields direct contact between the active material and Li2C4O4, enables an additional supply of lithium ions in the battery cell.
