Regulation of Oxygen Vacancies in High Entropy Oxides With Multi‐Layer Eggshell Architectural Framework for Boosting the Electrochemical Performance of Supercapacitors

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, Volume 9, Issue 3, May 2026.
An oxygen vacancy–rich FeZnCuCoNi high‐entropy oxide was constructed using a dual‐defect engineering strategy. This multi‐layer eggshell‐structured material delivers remarkable electrochemical performance, with high specific capacitance, excellent rate capability, and long‐term cycling stability even after 10 000 cycles.
