Exciton Dynamics in Layered Halide Perovskite Light‐Emitting Diodes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 25, June 26, 2025.
This review discusses the exciton dynamics in layered halide perovskitelight‐emitting diodes (PeLEDs). It opens with a summary of the structural and photophysical aspects, followed by an exploration of controlling dimensionality and cascade exciton transfer in quasi‐2D PeLEDs.

Rectified Asteroid Albedos and Diameters from IRAS and MSX [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Rectified diameters and albedo estimates of 1517 main belt asteroid selected from the IRAS and MSX asteroid photometry catalogues are derived from updated infrared thermal models, the Standard Thermal Model (STM) and the Near Earth Asteroid Thermal Model

Setup and Characterization of a Fiber Brillouin Amplifier Module for Optical Frequency Transfer Over Interferometric Fiber Links

open access: yesAnnalen der Physik, Volume 537, Issue 5, May 2025.
This study offers a comprehensive overview of the design of fiber Brillouin amplifier modules (FBAMs) for stabilized optical frequency dissemination. It presents a thorough evaluation of the amplification characteristics across various optical signal and pump power levels.

Caesium‐Iodide‐Assisted Synthesis of High‐Quality, Stable, and Robust Lead‐Free Perovskite Quantum Dots

open access: yesSmall Methods, Volume 9, Issue 4, April 22, 2025.
This study presents a straightforward method for synthesizing high‐quality CsSnI3‐based perovskite quantum dots (TQDs) using a mixed cesium source of Cs2CO3 and CsI. The inclusion of CsI enhances the iodine‐to‐tin ratio, leading to smaller, more uniform TQDs with improved crystallinity, photoluminescence, and antioxidation properties.

Therapy Potential of Oblique Lumbar Interbody Fusion 360 for Severe Lumbar Spinal Stenosis

open access: yesOrthopaedic Surgery, Volume 17, Issue 4, Page 1114-1123, April 2025.
OLIF360 surgical type is a new surgical method for the operator to complete oblique lateral lumbar fusion and percutaneous posterior pedicle screw implantation in a single position by using O‐arm navigation. The current indications for OLIF360 are mainly limited to mild to moderate non‐isthmic spinal stenosis and Grade I spondylolisthesis.

Fermi gas response to time-dependent perturbations

open access: yes, 2004
We describe the Riemann-Hilbert (RH) approach to computing the long-time response of a Fermi gas to a time-dependent perturbation. The approach maps the problem onto a non-commuting RH problem.

The role of aortic compliance in determination of coarctation severity: Lumped parameter modeling, in vitro study and clinical evaluation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Early detection and accurate estimation of the extent of coarctation of the aorta (COA) is critical to long-term outcome. Peak-to-peak trans-coarctation pressure gradient (PKdP) higher than 20 mmHg is an indication for interventional/surgical repair ...

Luigi Vietti. L’invenzione della tradizione

open access: yesFestival dell'Architettura Magazine, 2019

Vector Magnetic Fields and Current Helicities in Coronal Holes and Quiet Regions

open access: yes, 2010
In the solar photosphere, many properties of coronal holes (CHs) are not known, especially vector magnetic fields. Using observations from \emph{Hinode}, we investigate vector magnetic fields, current densities and current helicities in two CHs and ...
