Folded SIR with CSRRs for Ultra Wide Band Applications

2013 International Symposium on Electronic System Design, 2013
The paper presents a maximally flat compact planar filter employing folded Stepped Impedance Resonators (SIR) and Complementary Split Ring Resonators (CSRR), for Ultra Wide Band (UWB) applications. An interdigital quarter wavelength coupled line is used for achieving the band pass characteristics.

A Novel CSRRs DGS as Lowpass Filter

Journal of Electromagnetic Waves and Applications, 2008
A novel complementary split-ring resonators (CSRRs) DGS has been investigated theoretically and experimentally. The proposed DGS provides excellent performance in terms of double resonant property, ripple in the pass band, sharp selectivity at the cut-off frequency and spurious free wide stop band.

Analysis of Different CSRR Structures on MicrostripTransmission Lines

2018 International Conference on Recent Trends in Electrical, Control and Communication (RTECC), 2018
This paper presents the analysis of three shapes of complementary split ring resonators (CSRR) defected ground structure (DGS) microstrip filters namely square, circle and novel D shape. The structure was designed and simulated using 3D full wave EM solver Ansys HFSS.

Investigation of CSRR loaded waveguide for accelerator applications

Journal of Instrumentation, 2014
In this paper, a design for a metamaterial loaded rectangular metal waveguide is investigated for applications in accelerators and as a coherent radiation sources. The loaded waveguide structure is designed to operate between 4 GHz and 6 GHz, with optimal operation at 5.47 GHz.

Design of Patch Antennas based on Metamaterials CSRRs

2019 International Conference on Advanced Electrical Engineering (ICAEE), 2019
Microstrip patch antenna with metamaterial properties has become a very wide topic in recent, we will presented in this section of the associated patch resonators several rows based metamaterials CSRRs. Several antennas have been designed in the frequency band [1–6] GHz and the performance of the antenna can be viewed by calculating various parameters ...

Design of Array CSRRs Band-Stop Filter

2018
Metamaterials are artificial pseudo-homogeneous structures with electromagnetic properties not found in nature. This paper presents a microwave band-stop filter making use of complementary split-ring resonator (CSRR). This filter combines a conventional bandstop filter characteristics and negative permittivity metamaterial to establish a metamaterial ...

Mutation in csrR global regulator reduces Streptococcus pyogenes internalization

Microbial Pathogenesis, 2000
Transposon (Tn 916) mutagenesis was employed to identify genes in group A streptococcus (GAS) that are involved in bacterial internalization by epithelial cells. One mutant displayed significantly reduced internalization efficiency and was therefore selected for further characterization.

A Wireless Power Transfer Application Using CSRR

2018 18th Mediterranean Microwave Symposium (MMS), 2018
This paper presents a wireless power transfer application with electrical coupling. The proposed structure uses a Complementary Split Ring Resonator (CSRR) as defected ground structure (DGS). The top layer is very simple with a single open-ended transmission line.
