Androgen Receptor‐Induced Lactoferrin Accelerates Prostate Tumorigenesis Through Modulating Ferroptosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that transcription factor androgen receptor (AR) directly binds the LF promoter, driving lactoferrin overexpression to promote ferritin (FTH1/FTL) upregulation and inhibit p53‐ALOX12‐mediated ferroptosis in prostate cancer. Lactoferrin could be a new potential therapeutic target in prostate cancer.

Light‐Activatable Nitric Oxide Release via Intramolecular Electron Transfer for Tumor Pyroptosis Induction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work proposes a novel strategy to fabricate unimolecular pyroptosis photoinitiators activated by deep‐red light at low light doses. It relies on a photosensitization mechanism to trigger nitric oxide (NO) release from benzisothiadiazole‐based N‐nitrosanilines without modification of nitro moieties, thereby boosting pyroptosis‐mediated ...

The Development and Pilot Clinical Study of CD147 Targeted Antagonistic Peptide Probe for Tumor Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study establishes [68Ga]Ga‐DOTA‐AP9 as a first‐in‐human CD147‐targeted PET tracer with favorable safety and specific tumor uptake. Tracer accumulation correlates with CD147 expression in patients, enabling noninvasive quantification of CD147‐positive malignancies.

Modeling of current transformers under saturation conditions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
During a short circuit the input signal of the relay can be distort by the magnetic core saturation of the current transformer. It is useful to verify the behavior of CT by a mathematical model. The paper describes one phase and three phase models and it

ESCRT‐Mimetic Nanodegrader Targets STING for Anti‐Inflammatory Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A nanoplatform‐enabled targeted protein degradation strategy is presented to regulate aberrant STING signaling. STING‐ATTEC induces selective autophagic degradation of STING via formation of a STING–ATTEC–LC3 ternary complex, while the cationic FA‐LNP+ system enhances LC3 generation and targeted delivery. Together, this synergistic approach efficiently

Multi‐Omics Profiling Reveals Immunomodulatory and Pro‐Regenerative Effects of a Graphene Oxide–Collagen Scaffold in Massive Rotator Cuff Tears

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A graphene oxide/collagen scaffold is developed for chronic massive rotator cuff tear repair. The scaffold improves compressive stability, supports reparative mesenchymal differentiation, and modulates the immune microenvironment. In chronic MRCT models, it reduces muscle degeneration, enhances tendon–bone regeneration, and improves functional recovery,

Anomalous hepatic vein drainage to the atrium following extracardiac total cavopulmonary connection: a case report and literature review

open access: yesJournal of Cardiothoracic Surgery
Background The discovery of anomalous hepatic vein drainage into the atrium following extracardiac total cavopulmonary connection in patients with single ventricle is extremely rare. This study aims to enhance our understanding of this phenomenon.
