Interactions in Cu(II)Cu(II), VO(II)VO(II) and Cu(II)VO(II) pairs through oxalato bridging ligand

Inorganica Chimica Acta, 1984
Abstract The goal of this paper was to compare the interaction in Cu(II)Cu(II), VO(II)VO(II) and Cu(II)VO(II) pairs through the same oxalato bridging ligand. For this, two new bimetallic complexes were synthesized, namely acacVO(C 2 O 4 )VOacac·4H 2 O noted [VOVO] and tmenCu(C 2 O 4 )VO(C 2 O 4 )·3H 2 O noted [CuVO], with acac = acetylacetonato and ...

Collapsed Cu(II)-Hydroxamate Metallacrowns

Inorganic Chemistry, 2012
Degradation of a strained, thermodynamically destabilized pentanuclear copper(II) 12-metallacrown-4 complex based on a picoline hydroxamic acid resulted in the formation of the tetranuclear compounds which are the first examples of solely hydroxamate-based Cu(II) metallacrown complexes with a collapse of the metallamacrocyclic cavity.

Synthesis, crystal structure, thermal decomposition, and XPS studies of homo and heterotrinuclear Cu(II)–Cu(II)–Cu(II) and Cu(II)–Ni(II)–Cu(II) complexes obtained from salpn type ligands

Russian Journal of Coordination Chemistry, 2017
In this study, a mononuclear CuL complex was prepared by the use of bis-N,N′-(salicylidene)-1, 3-propanediamine (LH2) and Cu2+ ion. NiCl2 and NiBr2 salt were treated with this complex in dioxanewater medium and two new complexes [(CuL)2NiCl2(H2O)2] and [(CuL)2NiBr2(H2O)2)] with Cu(II)–Ni(II)–Cu(II) nucleus structure were obtained.

Directed synthesis of {Cu₂(II)Zn₂(II)} and {Cu₈(II)Zn₈(II)} heterometallic complexes.

Dalton transactions (Cambridge, England : 2003), 2016
Two new heterometallic complexes [Cu2Zn2(H4L)2(CH3COO)2Cl2]·2.5CH3OH·0.5H2O (1) and [Cu8Zn8(OH)8(H4L)8](Cl)2(ClO4)6·16H2O (2) have been synthesised following two different preparative routes, by using the polydentate ligand Bis-tris propane (H6L = 2,2'-(propane-1,3-diyldiimino)bis[2-(hydroxymethyl)propane-1,3-diol]).

Assembly of cyano-bridged Cu(II)/Cu(II) and Cu(I)/Cu(II) compounds obtained by controlled ration of cyanide

Journal of Organometallic Chemistry, 2007
Abstract One reaction system of Cu2+, dipn, and CN− with two different molar ratio sets of 1:1:5, and 2:1:8 produced two compounds 1 [CuII(dipn)][CuII(CN)4], and 2 [ Cu II ( dipn ) ] 2 [ Cu 4 I ( CN ) 8 ] · 2H 2 O , respectively (dipn = dipropylenetriamine).

Imidazolate bridged Cu(ii)–Cu(ii) and Cu(ii)–Zn(ii) complexes of a terpyridinophane azamacrocycle: a solution and solid state study

Dalton Transactions, 2007
The dinuclear Cu2+ and Zn2+ as well as the mixed Cu2+-Zn2+ complexes of a 5,5''-pentaazaterpyridinophane ligand (L) are able to incorporate imidazolate (Im-) as a bridging ligand. The crystal structure of [Cu(2)L(Im)(Br)(H2O)](CF(3)SO(3))(2).3H2O (1) shows one copper coordinated by the three pyridine nitrogens of the terpyridine unit, one nitrogen of ...
