The Influence of the Central Metal Ion on the Electronic and Photovoltaic Properties of Metalloporphyrins [M= Zn(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Au(III)] Systems

ECS Meeting Abstracts, 2023
Although the pioneering use of porphyrins in organic solar cells (OSCs) was disappointing as reported efficiencies were very low, the situation has changed over the last five years as Zn-porphyrins with ABAB structures linked to acceptor units through triple bonds have been applied as donors resulting in efficiencies of up to 12% in binary OSCs and ...

New Amperometric Methods for the Trace Determination of Cu(II), Ag(I) and Au(III)

ECS Transactions, 2010
In the present study, amperometric determination of Cu(II), Ag(I) and Au(III) was carried out. We have used thioglycolic acid (TGA) for this purpose at d.m.e. (dropping mercury electrode). We have employed 0.1M NH3 + 0.1M NH4Cl medium for Cu(II) and Au(III) and 0.1M KNO3 for Ag(I).

Preparation, characterization and pH-metric measurements of 4-hydroxysalicylidenechitosan Schiff-base complexes of Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Ru(III), Rh(III), Pd(II) and Au(III)

Carbohydrate Research, 2011
The 4-hydroxysalicylidenechitosan Schiff-base (2CS-Hdhba) was prepared by the condensation of 2,4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde with chitosan, and its metal complexes, [M(2CS-dhba)Cl(2)(H(2)O)(2)] (M(III)=Fe, Ru, Rh), [M'(2CS-dhba)(AcO)(H(2)O)(2)] (M'(II)=Co, Ni, Cu, Zn), [Pd(2CS-dhba)Cl(H(2)O)] and [Au(2CS-dhba)Cl(2)], are reported.

Synthesis, characterization, and molecular modeling of Cu(II) and Au(III) complexes with hypoglycemic drugs as ligands

Journal of Inorganic Biochemistry, 1993
Abstract The synthesis and characterization of Cu(II) and Au(III) complexes with sulfonylurea ligands is described. Deprotonated sulfonylureas act as bidentate ligands to form Na[Cu(X-C 6 H 4 SO 2 NCONHC 2 H 4 Y) 3 ] and as monodentate ligands to form K[Au(X-C 6 H 4 SO 2 NCONHC 2 H 4 Y)Cl 3 ] (X = CH 3 or Cl and Y = CH 3 or C 2 H 5 ) complexes. Journal of Organometallic Chemistry, 2000
The reaction behaviour of the bis(alkynyl) titanocenes [Ti](CCR1)(CCR2) {[Ti]=(η5-C5H4SiMe3)2Ti; 1: R1=R2=Fc, Fc=(η5-C5H4)Fe(η5-C5H5); 5a: R1=R2=SiMe3; 5b: R1=R2=C6H5; 5c: R1=SiMe3, R2=C6H5} towards MX2 (M=Pd, Pt; X=Cl; M=Cu; X=Cl, Br, OAc, acac) and MCl3 (M=Fe, Au) is described. All reactions are dominated by redox processes. Generally, the reaction

Biosorption of Au (III) and Cu (II) from Aqueous Solution by a Non‐Living Cetraria Islandica (L.) Ach.

Annali di Chimica, 2006
AbstractBiosorption of Au(III) and Cu(II) from dilute aqueous solutions was investigated by biomass of the non‐living Cetraria islandica (L.) Ach. The removal and recovery of gold and copper were studied by applying batch technique. The experimental parameters such as the pH of the solution, contact time, the amount of Cetraria islandica (L.) Ach ...

Selective Competitive Biosorption of Au(III) and Cu(II) in Binary Systems byMagnetospirillum gryphiswaldense

Separation Science and Technology, 2013
The biosorption of Au(III) and Cu(II) ions in both single and binary systems by Magnetospirillum gryphiswaldense (MSR-1) was investigated. For comparison with the selective reinforced competitive biosorption process in a binary system, the experimental research first explored the biosorption of Au(III) and Cu(II) in a single system under various ...
