Abstract Polycrystalline cubic boron nitride (PcBN) samples were fabricated via high pressure high temperature (HPHT) sintering process using nanocrystalline TiN particle coated cBN powder. cBN powder was coated with TiN nanoparticles prior to sintering for the purpose of improving microstructural homogeneity.
