The Mixed Cubic-Quartic Functional Equation

AbstractIn this paper, we obtain the general solution of the following generalized mixed cubic and quartic functional equation f(x + kx) + f(x − ky) = k2{f(x + y) + f(x−y)}−2(k2−1)f(x)−2k2(k2−1)f(y)+ 1/4 k2(k2−1)f(2y), for fixed integers k with k ≠ 0,±1. The Hyers-Ulam stability problem for the mentioned functional equation is also proved.

Powder Optimization Strategies for Binder Jetting Printing of BaTiO3 and Ba0,6Sr0,4TiO3 Ceramics

Powder optimization is investigated to enable binder jetting of BaTiO3 and Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3 ferroelectric ceramics. The antagonistic relationship between flowability and binder compatibility is addressed through binder impregnation of granulated powders and fumed silica addition to fine powders.

Low‐Angle Grain Boundaries and Re‐Segregation in Single‐Crystalline Ni‐Base Superalloys

Raman Spectroscopic Identification of Oxide Phases in a Corroded MgO–Steel Composite Anode Used in Aluminum Molten Salt Electrolysis

Micro‐Raman spectroscopy is applied to characterize corrosion products in a recycled‐based MgO–316L steel composite anode after molten salt electrolysis. A depth‐dependent Fe–O/Fe–Al–O layer sequence of magnetite, hercynite, and an Al‐doped magnetite transition zone is identified.
