Polysomatic series in the structures of complex cuprates [PDF]
The modular approach was applied to analyse the structure of complex cuprates. The modular series of various types were distinguished in the family of layered cuprates making use of the classification scheme in a fragment approximation developed earlier.

Combustion synthesis of rare earth cuprates [PDF]
Rare earth cuprates, La2CuO4 Nd2CuO4, La1.8M0.2CuO4 (M=Ca.Sr) and Nd1.85Ce0.15CuO4 have been prepared by the combustion of redox mixtures containing corresponding metal nitrates and maleic hydrazide, C4H4N2O2, at 350°C. The solid combustion products are

It is shown that the usual three-center cation-anion-cation model or fourth-order pertrubation expression (in the Cu-O hopping parameter ${\mathit{t}}_{\mathit{p}\mathit{d}}$) does not give a useful (even qualitative) estimate for the superexchange J, even though, by coincidence, it predicts a magnitude that is reasonable.

The Stannyl-Cupration and Silyl-Cupration of Propargylic Sulphides
Synlett, 1992In the addition of stannyl- and silylcupration reagents to propargylic sulphides, the dependence of the regiochemistry of the adducts on the reaction conditions as well as on the nature of the Group 14 element in the metallo-metallation reagent, coupled with the possibility of a metal-mediated desulphuration path, can be exploited into a flexible ...
