ChemInform Abstract: The Silyl‐Cupration and Stannyl‐Cupration of Allenes.

ChemInform, 1989
AbstractThe stoichiometric silyl‐cupration of the allene (I), followed directly by treating the intermediate cuprate with an electrophile (e.g.

Stripes and Superconductivity in Cuprates–Is there a Connection?

ChemPhysChem, 2003
Charge stripes can be traced back to the 1990s or even earlier." Stripes are a special case of the general phenomenon of electronic phase separation in strongly correlated transition metal oxide systems wherein regions with a high concentration of mobile carriers are separated from those with a low concentration due to Coulomb interactions. The carrier-

Superconductivity in Cuprates

2009
An insulator with a magnetic moment at each lattice site (i.e. a magnetic insulator) is known as Mott insulator. The unusuality of a Mott insulator is that strong correlations suppress the charge fluctuations, which are required for a finite conductivity.

Cohabitation in the cuprates

Nature, 1999
Superconductivity and magnetism are usually considered mutually exclusive, although they can coexist in hybrid compounds containing two different sets of atoms. Under certain conditions, in a high-temperature superconductor, magnetism can now coexist with superconductivity even though they both arise from the same copper atoms.

Cuprate superconductivity

2006
AbstractStarting with an account of the chemical composition, crystalline structure, and phase diagram of the high-temperature (cuprate) superconductors, this chapter reviews the principal experimental properties of the optimally doped normal phase, the superconducting phase, and the so-called “pseudogap” region of the phase diagram, and some general ...
