Robust control of current-mode controlled converters

Proceedings Eighth Annual Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition,, 2002
A robust controller for multimodule current-mode push-pull power converters is presented. First, the small-signal equivalent circuit and transfer function model of the converter system are found. Then the slope compensation is selected and model reduction is performed using the concept of dominant energy mode.

Current-controlled translinear impedance converter

International Journal of Electronics, 1991
A current-controlled impedance converter is described which is implemented using two translinear active devices: a current conveyor with unity gain and an adjustable differential current-mode amplifier. It has low parasitic input impedance and useful properties when the amplifier gain is near unity. To characterize the circuit, SPICE simulation results

Current mode control of frequency controlled resonant converters

INTELEC - Twentieth International Telecommunications Energy Conference (Cat. No.98CH36263), 2002
This paper examines an implementation of the average current mode control (ACMC) in a frequency controlled series resonant converter used in a telecommunication rectifier. This control mode provides very fast output overcurrent protection and improves reliability of the series resonant converter.

Robust control of multimodule current-mode controlled converters

IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 1993
A robust controller for multimodule current-mode push-pull converters is presented. First, the small-signal equivalent circuit and the transfer function model of the multimodule converter system are obtained. Then, the selection of slope compensation and the model reduction are performed using the concept of dominant energy mode.

Current distribution control for parallel connected converters. II

IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 1992
For pt.I, see ibid., vol.28, no.3, p.829-840 (1992). In the central-limit control (CLC), the multiloop controls are employed to regulate the output voltage and track the central weighted current, thus equalizing the output current of each converter module (CM).

Current-Controlled Interlinking Converter with Grid-Supporting Functionalities

2019 IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition (APEC), 2019
A digital control system is proposed for grid-tied current-controlled interlinking converters that guarantees i) grid-supporting functionalities during grid connected operation and ii) automatic, prompt, and balanced power sharing among converters during islanded operation, without requiring mutual communication or supervising control.

$I^{2}$ Average Current Mode Control for Switching Converters

IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2014
Constant frequency average current mode (ACM) control is a widely used control scheme for converters requiring precise current control. However, its transient response is relatively slow, while the switching loss and driving loss significantly diminish the light load efficiency. To solve these issues, the I2 control ACM is proposed.

Control of Multilevel Current Converter

RE&PQJ
The paper presents a solution to the problem of multilevel current converter control to improve the quality of AC output current waveforms. The three-level three-phase current converter has been designed using parallel galvanic connection of three standard current converters.

Active current converter mathematical model and control

2000 5th International Conference on Actual Problems of Electronic Instrument Engineering Proceedings. APEIE-2000. Devoted to the 50th Anniversary of Novosibirsk State Technical University. Vol.1 (Cat. No.00EX383), 2002
The paper represents a totally controlled switches based active current rectifier working in a PWM mode vector mathematical model. The active current rectifier has certain advantages of output current management, energy recuperation, supply line power factor management and forming near sinusoidal line currents.
