Interleaved converters based on hysteresis current control
2000 IEEE 31st Annual Power Electronics Specialists Conference. Conference Proceedings (Cat. No.00CH37018), 2002A method is proposed to improve the interleaved operation of half-bridge converters with variable switching frequency. It is based on cycle-by-cycle measurements of the switching period of one module, with the needed phase shift for the other bridges obtained by means of analog circuitry to allow fast dynamic response.

High-precision current control through opposed current converters
2011Switch blanking time, also referred to as dead-time, is one of the dominant sources of output current and voltage distortion in pulse width modulated power amplifiers. Extensive studies are known on elimination, minimization, and compensation of the effect. Most techniques achieve a reduction of the distortion but are not capable of completely removing

Isolated Current Feedback Control for Buck Converter
2005 IEEE Conference on Electron Devices and Solid-State Circuits, 2006This paper proposes the design and technique for controlling DC voltage of DC-DC converter using isolated current feedback. When testing with different loads [1], the output obtained has good voltage regulator, a wide input voltage range, quick response and safe.

Adaptive digital current mode controller for DC-DC converters
2015 17th European Conference on Power Electronics and Applications (EPE'15 ECCE-Europe), 2015An adaptive control technique for a digital current mode control of dc-dc converters is proposed in this paper. The adaptive digital controller is designed to maintain the optimum gain-phase of the outer control loop regardless of the changes in the load value.

A new current-mode control for DC/DC converter
INTELEC 05 - Twenty-Seventh International Telecommunications Conference, 2005Current-sensing is used widely in smart power chips, especially in DC/DC converter for voltage regulator modules (VRM), implemented with interleaved synchronous rectifier buck converters. The interleaved technique main difficulty is due to its current-sharing control between the several modules.

A digital current controller for zero-current transition bidirectional converter
2008 13th International Power Electronics and Motion Control Conference, 2008This paper presents a digital current controller for zero-current transition (ZCT) bidirectional converters. In order to reduce switching losses and noises, a soft-switching technique is adopted. It is suitable for the pulse-width modulation (PWM), because the resonant transition is very short and it is independent of the switching frequency.

Charge current control for LLC resonant converter
2015 IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition (APEC), 2015This paper proposes a charge current control method for LLC resonant converter where the total charge of the switch current is compared with the control voltage to modulate the switching frequency. Since the proposed control method uses resonant current for only a half switching cycle together with duty cycle balancing circuit, the circuit can be ...

Power converter control using calculated average current
2019A controller circuit is configured to drive a switching element to establish a channel that electrically couples a source to an inductive element of a buck converter and generate a minimum current sample. In response to current at the switching element exceeding a target peak current threshold of a set of control parameters for the buck converter, the ...
