Low-Voltage CMOS Balanced Output Current Conveyor with Rail-to-Rail Input Stage [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
247-253In this paper, a new CMOS low-voltage balanced output second generation current conveyor (BOCCII) with rail-to-rail input stage is proposed. The rail-to-rail operation can be achieved by placing an n-channel and a p-channel differential input pair

Palmitoylation of PSD‐95 Orchestrates Learning‐Dependent Metaplasticity in the Amygdala and Fear Memory

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that fear learning specifically triggers PICK1/DHHC2‐dependent palmitoylation of PSD‐95 in the lateral amygdala. Fear conditioning induces the dissociation of DHHC5 from PSD‐95 and the association of PSD‐95 with DHHC2. DHHC2‐mediated palmitoylation of PSD‐95 is required for synaptic transmission and underlies fear learning–induced ...

Circuit implementation of current conveyor

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1980
Some circuits for the design of current conveyors are reported. The new configurations use a minimum number of operational amplifiers. Experimental data on their performance is compared with other realisations.

CMOS highly linear fully differential current conveyor [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Design of a CMOS robust low-distortion fully differential second-generation current conveyor (CCII) is presented. The proposed circuit is essential to extend the use of the CCII-based circuits to high-performance VLSI applications.

Calcineurin‐Dependent Stress Adaptation Enables Caspofungin Heteroresistance Leading to Stable Resistance in Candida Glabrata

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Caspofungin heteroresistance is prevalent in clinical Candida glabrata isolates and depends on calcineurin‐mediated stress adaptation. This transient phenotype serves as a reservoir for resistance evolution, enabling the emergence of stable resistant descendants under prolonged drug pressure.

A Multimodal Haptic Feedback Interface with Thin‐Film Compliant Mechanism

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Multimodal haptic devices can trigger different mechanoreceptors, enabling richer haptic information. This study presents an electromagnetic multimodal haptic device capable of delivering indentation, stretch, and vibration stimuli. The device is enabled by a novel polymer thin‐film compliant mechanism that provides high translational compliance along ...

Wearable Electro‐Thermal Haptic Stimulator Driven by a Self‐Powered Tactile Sensor for Realistic Stimulus Replication

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We present a stimulus‐replicating system combining a tactile sensor with a wearable Peltier thermotactile module and concentric electrotactile electrode. Signals encoding pressure and temperature drive the stimulators to reproduce mechano‐thermal cues on the skin. AlN/PDMS encapsulation and SA/LA PSA ensure mechanical compliance and thermal efficiency.

New high performance realizations for current controlled conveyor (CCCII) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
In this paper two new realizations, one CMOS and one bipolar, for current-controlled conveyor (CCCII) are proposed. The proposed circuits provide a good linearity, very high input impedance at port-y, high output impedance at port-z and good output/input
