Effect of current density on the morphology and electrochemical properties of nanotubular TiO2 for implant applications

open access: yesMaterials Research Express
This study focuses on investigating the influence of current density (i) (A/dm ^2 ) at values of 0.5 A dm ^−2 , 1.0 A dm ^−2 1.5 A dm ^−2 , and 2.0 A/dm ^2 on the surface structure of nanotubular titanium dioxide (TiO _2 ) in an ethylene glycol solvent ...

Removing High-Velocity Oxyfuel Coatings Through Electrolytic Dissolution

open access: yesJournal of Manufacturing and Materials Processing
High-velocity oxyfuel (HVOF) coatings are used to protect components from corrosion and wear at higher temperatures and from wearing out after a certain period of time. Hence, to enhance the life of components, further recoating is required, but removing

Lateral current density fronts in asymmetric double-barrier resonant-tunneling structures

open access: yes, 2003
We present a theoretical analysis and numerical simulations of lateral current density fronts in bistable resonant-tunneling diodes with Z-shaped current-voltage characteristics.

Integrated genomic and proteomic profiling reveals insights into chemoradiation resistance in cervical cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A comprehensive genomic and proteomic analysis of cervical cancer revealed STK11 and STX3 as a potential biomarkers of chemoradiation resistance. Our study demonstrated EGFR as a therapeutic target, paving the way for precision strategies to overcome treatment failure and the DNA repair pathway as a critical mechanism of resistance.

High-field vortices in Josephson junctions with alternating critical current density

open access: yes, 2007
We study long Josephson junctions with the critical current density alternating along the junction. New equilibrium states, which we call the field synchronized or FS states, are shown to exist if the applied field is from narrow intervals centered ...

Current-density, current-density commutation relations and the VVP couplings

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 1968
Abstract Using a limiting procedure due to Bjorken, we relate the VVP couplings to the current density-current density commutators. We then find that the Gell-Mann, Sharp and Wagner pole model is valid only in the algebra of fields, whereas in the algebra of currents the VVP couplings are momentum-dependent.

YAP1::TFE3 mediates endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal plasticity in epithelioid hemangioendothelioma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The YAP1::TFE3 fusion protein drives endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EndMT) plasticity, resulting in the loss of endothelial characteristics and gain of mesenchymal‐like properties, including resistance to anoikis, increased migratory capacity, and loss of contact growth inhibition in endothelial cells.
