Error compensation method for current transformer
2016 IEEE 1st International Conference on Power Electronics, Intelligent Control and Energy Systems (ICPEICES), 2016Accuracy of metering system depends on accuracy of current transformer, potential transformer and energy meter. This Paper deals with error compensation in measurement current transformers. Due to hysteresis characteristics of current transformer primary current cannot be replicated accurately into secondary current.

Current Instrument Transformer Error Calculations
IEEE Transactions on Power Apparatus and Systems, 1963A nonlinear differential equation describing the steady-state operation of a current instrument transformer is formulated based upon a Rayleigh hysteresis loop approximation of the magnetic core effects. Using a harmonic-balance technique, a suitable approximate solution of this equation provides expressions for the RCF (ratio correction factor) and ...

GROSS ERROR IDENTIFICATION IN CURRENT MEASUREMENTS
Electric Machines & Power Systems, 1997ABSTRACT This paper proposes a parity mismatch based gross error identification scheme for ampere magnitude measurements. In the parity mismatch method, the constant in a given system is calculated using the estimated state and the observed measurement. The gross error in the measurement then propagates through the calculation procedure and indicates a

Current error estimates for LISA spurious accelerations [PDF]
The performance of the LISA gravitational wave detector depends critically on limiting spurious accelerations of the fiducial masses. Consequently, the requirements on allowable acceleration levels must be carefully allocated based on estimates of the achievable limits on spurious accelerations from all disturbances.

Calculation of Current Transformer Transient Errors
IEEE Transactions on Power Apparatus and Systems, 1978Transient saturation of current transformers may cause maloperation of protective devices. Therefore there is a need for a method which enables the calculating of transient transformation errors. The method should be simple and based upon the data which are available to the users of current transformers.

Mismatch-based timing errors in current steering DACs
Proceedings of the 2003 International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2003. ISCAS '03., 2003Current Steering Digital-to-Analog Converters (CS-DAC) are important ingredients in many high-speed data converters. Various types of timing errors such as mismatch based timing errors limit broad-band performance. A framework of timing errors is presented here and it is used to analyze these errors.

Predictive current control with current-error correction for PM brushless AC drives
IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, 2005The performance of the conventional predictive current control (PCC) when applied to a permanent-magnet brushless ac (PM BLAC) drive is analyzed. A technique is proposed to reduce the current errors that arise due to the inaccuracies in the system parameters and the nonideal behavior of the inverter during a steady-state operation.

Errors in persistent inward currents generated by space-clamp errors: a modeling study
Journal of Neurophysiology, 19951. The effects of imperfect space clamp on inactivating inward currents were examined with the use of a "ball-and-stick" neuronal model with uniform active and passive membrane properties. With poor space clamp, both transient and steady-state (persistent) components were distorted.

[Disclosing medical errors: the current situation].
Nederlands tijdschrift voor geneeskunde, 2016Recent broadly-supported guidelines stipulate that physicians and other care providers should be open and honest about incidents, i.e. medical errors. This standard has been reinforced by recent statements from the medical disciplinary board and is shortly expected to be incorporated into Dutch law.

Error analysis of an acoustic current meter
IEEE Journal of Oceanic Engineering, 1991Accuracies of the benthic acoustic stress sensor (BASS) and the proposed modular acoustic velocity sensor (MAVS) are evaluated. A simple model of the hydrodynamic sources of error for acoustic current meters is presented and compared with the measured performance of BASS in a tow-tank and in field deployments.
