A current-mode current-controlled current-conveyor-based analogue multiplier/divider

International Journal of Electronics, 1998
A simple current-mode analogue multiplier/divider circuit using only two secondgeneration current-controlled current-conveyors is presented. No resistors, no capacitors and no MOS transistors are required. The circuit can perform multiplication and division without changing its topology. Results obtained using SPICE simulation are included.

New Current-Controlled Current-Mode Multifunction Filter Using Translinear Current Conveyors

2008 International Symposium on Communications and Information Technologies, 2008
A new current-mode universal biquadratic filter with two inputs and two outputs employing only two translinear current conveyors with controlled gain and two grounded capacitors is proposed. The proposed circuit offers the following features: realization of lowpass, bandpass, highpass, bandstop and allpass current responses from the same configuration,

A new differential current- controlled current conveyor and its differential ladder current-controlled current-mode filter

2007 International Workshop on Electron Devices and Semiconductor Technology (EDST), 2007
the paper presents a new differential current - controlled second generation current conveyor circuit with multiple outputs (MO-DCCCII). The principle of the circuit is analyzed in detail. In this circuit, the voltage relations between the differential input Y and the differential terminal X can be tuned by the extra bias current and no restriction is ...

Sliding mode voltage control in current mode PWM inverters

PESC `92 Record. 23rd Annual IEEE Power Electronics Specialists Conference, 2003
The author discusses the application of sliding-mode control techniques to DC-AC converters, driven by dual current mode PWM modulators that maintain constant frequency operation and provide output current clipping facilities. Sliding-mode control is advantageous when the inverter is designed to perform as a switching power operational amplifier, or ...

Average current mode control in digitally controlled discontinuous-conduction-mode PFC rectifier for improved line current distortion

2011 Twenty-Sixth Annual IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition (APEC), 2011
This paper proposes a digital average current mode control method in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) power factor correction (PFC) rectifier. The proposed control technique can directly sense the average value of the inductor current in each switching cycle digitally by employing a conventional current sensing circuit. Thanks to the current control

Conventional controller for PSRC using quasi current mode control

2010 Second International conference on Computing, Communication and Networking Technologies, 2010
The Indirect current mode control is applied in the Phase-Shifted Series Resonant Converter System (PSRC). The current is generated from resonant tank vector and the resonant current is regulated indirectly through quasi-current mode control and thus the dynamic performance of the converter system is improved.

A NEW CURRENT-MODE CURRENT-CONTROLLED ALL-PASS SECTION

Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2007
This paper presents a new translinear-C current-mode first order all-pass filter suited for high frequency operation. The new circuit offers a simpler structure than the available translinear-C works. The pole-frequency of the circuit is controllable over a wide range through external bias current of CCCII and the circuit possesses low THD for a wide ...

Application of slide mode control to a current-mode-controlled boost converter

IEEE 2002 28th Annual Conference of the Industrial Electronics Society. IECON 02, 2003
We first study the behavior of a current-mode-controlled boost converter and exhibit its chaotic behavior (when the duty cycle exceeds 50%). We then introduce a practical method (sliding mode control) aiming at totally eliminating chaos and at keeping the desired current-controlled property.

Improved Finite Control Set Model Predictive Current Control for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor With Sliding Mode Observer

IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification
To improve the strong dependence of predictive control parameters on finite control set (FCS) models, an improved robust FCS predictive current control (FCS-MPCC) algorithm for permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive systems is proposed.
