Sensorless field oriented control using common mode currents
Conference Record of the 2000 IEEE Industry Applications Conference. Thirty-Fifth IAS Annual Meeting and World Conference on Industrial Applications of Electrical Energy (Cat. No.00CH37129), 2002A simple sensorless field oriented control technique of an induction motor drive is presented, that estimates the angular frequency of the main flux from common mode currents. The proposed technique is effective at any load level and any speed, ranging from zero to rated value and beyond, in the flux weakening region.

Cascadable Current-Controlled Current-Mode Multifunction Filter Using CDTAs
2007 International Symposium on Integrated Circuits, 2007The cascadable current-controlled current-mode multifunction filter with three inputs and one output using current differencing transconductance amplifiers (CDTAs) as active components is presented. The proposed configuration comprising only three CDTAs and two grounded capacitors provides low-input and high-output impedances, which is advantageous ...

Electronically Controllable Current-Mode Instrumentation Amplifiers
2018In this chapter, Current-Mode Instrumentation Amplifiers (CMIAs) with the capability of having an electronically controllable gain are discussed. These CMIAs do not require variable passive resistors to change gain but the latter is adjusted by means of a control voltage or current.

Current mode controlled bidirectional flyback converter
20th Annual IEEE Power Electronics Specialists Conference, 2003A description is given of a current-mode-controlled bidirectional flyback converter handling different values of power in either direction. The flyback transformer operates in a continuous conduction mode in one direction and in a discontinuous conduction mode in the other direction of power flow.

A PLL-based current-mode PWM circuit suitable for current-mode controlled techniques
2008 9th International Conference on Solid-State and Integrated-Circuit Technology, 2008A wide-range current-mode pulse-width modulation circuit for current-mode controlled techniques is presented in this paper. The proposed circuit has been designed and implemented using 0.35-?m CMOS 2P4M process. The core die size is around 95×115 ?m2 . The experimental results show that the variation of the output frequency within ±0.25%.

A current-mode current-controlled current-conveyor-based analogue multiplier/divider
International Journal of Electronics, 1998A simple current-mode analogue multiplier/divider circuit using only two secondgeneration current-controlled current-conveyors is presented. No resistors, no capacitors and no MOS transistors are required. The circuit can perform multiplication and division without changing its topology. Results obtained using SPICE simulation are included.

New Current-Controlled Current-Mode Multifunction Filter Using Translinear Current Conveyors
2008 International Symposium on Communications and Information Technologies, 2008A new current-mode universal biquadratic filter with two inputs and two outputs employing only two translinear current conveyors with controlled gain and two grounded capacitors is proposed. The proposed circuit offers the following features: realization of lowpass, bandpass, highpass, bandstop and allpass current responses from the same configuration,

2007 International Workshop on Electron Devices and Semiconductor Technology (EDST), 2007
the paper presents a new differential current - controlled second generation current conveyor circuit with multiple outputs (MO-DCCCII). The principle of the circuit is analyzed in detail. In this circuit, the voltage relations between the differential input Y and the differential terminal X can be tuned by the extra bias current and no restriction is ...

Sliding mode voltage control in current mode PWM inverters
PESC `92 Record. 23rd Annual IEEE Power Electronics Specialists Conference, 2003The author discusses the application of sliding-mode control techniques to DC-AC converters, driven by dual current mode PWM modulators that maintain constant frequency operation and provide output current clipping facilities. Sliding-mode control is advantageous when the inverter is designed to perform as a switching power operational amplifier, or ...
