Interleaved ZVS Converter With Ripple-Current Cancellation
IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, 2008In this paper, an interleaved soft-switching converter with ripple-current cancellation is presented to achieve zero- voltage-switching (ZVS) turn-on and load current sharing. In order to achieve ZVS turn-on, an active snubber is connected in parallel with the primary winding of the transformer.

Capacitor Ripple Current in an Interleaved PFC Converter
IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2008To achieve high-power density in power supplies, it is desirable to minimize the physical size of the energy storage capacitor. The capacitance is determined by the energy storage requirement for line outage ride-through and also the ripple current handling capability of the capacitor.

A Low Ripple Current Mode Voltage Doubler
2015 IEEE 18th International Symposium on Design and Diagnostics of Electronic Circuits & Systems, 2015Experimental results of a fully integrated low ripple charge pump voltage converter are presented. The pump is a current mode voltage doubler with a novel parasitic capacitance precharge mechanism for output voltage ripple reduction. A prototype of the pump was designed and fabricated in 130 nm CMOS process.

Output Current Ripple-Free PWM Inverters
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II: Express Briefs, 2010In this brief, a simple modular passive ripple mirror circuit (PRMC) is proposed for eliminating the inherent high-frequency current ripple of pulsewidth modulation (PWM) inverters. The proposed passive circuit is robust in the sense of without containing either any power semiconductor switch or any extra control.

Ripple marks are present as undulations on a non-cohesive surface, though they may also be found infrequently in muddy sediments as well. They are produced as a result of the interaction of waves or currents on a sediment surface. Ripple marks are one of the commonest features of sedimentary rocks, both in Recent and ancient sediments.

What sets the size of current ripples?
Geology, 2017AbstractWater flowing over sand in fluvial and marine settings often results in the formation of current ripples. Found in modern and ancient deposits on Earth and Mars, ripple stratification records flow directions and fluid properties that are crucial to interpreting sedimentary records. Despite decades of observations of current ripples, there is no

Ripple current cancellation for boost converters
2017 IEEE 3rd International Future Energy Electronics Conference and ECCE Asia (IFEEC 2017 - ECCE Asia), 2017This paper presents a novel boost converter with a proposed tapped inductor ripple cancellation circuit. Based on the traditional methods, an extra LC branch, which consists of a capacitor and an inductor, is introduced in order to diminish the input current ripple.

Current Ripple Effect on $n$-Value
IEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity, 2007We systematically studied the effect of current ripple on the determination of n-value, which is the index of the shape of the electric field-current (E-I) curve. Commercial Nb3 S n wires were measured with controlled amounts of ac ripple. Substitution- box, superconductor simulator circuits were also measured. A battery-powered current supply was used

Current-Ripple Profiles and Their Development
The Journal of Geology, 1950SContribution No. 493 from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. Manuscript received September 23, 1949. slope of each of these ripples dips at an angle of about 41°-45°, although the precise angle depends on the angle of repose of the bed material. After a few minutes, the stoss slope is reshaped by an eddy which forms alee of each ripple.

An analytic solution of the choppers ripple currents
Proceedings of the 1993 IEEE/ASME Joint Railroad Conference, 2002The authors show that the combined application of Fourier and complex analysis results in the analytic solution of the chopper ripple current as a function of circuit and control parameters. It is shown how the squared RMS of the chopper ripple currents can be derived, and some practical cases are analyzed. The analysis is performed using a three-phase
