Design of Current Sensors in IGBT's

50th Annual Device Research Conference, 1992
Summary form only given. The operation of current sensors (or pilots) in IGBTs (insulated-gate bipolar transistors) is described experimentally and with two-dimensional simulations. Two different sensor structures are compared. In the most conventional structure, a small IGBT, separated from the main device by metallization only, is used as a current ...

Characteristics of Optical Current Sensors by Sensor Design

Journal of the Korean Institute of Illuminating and Electrical Installation Engineers, 2007
This paper will suggest that the 1 cross orthogonal loop type sensor improves on the orthogonal loop form sensor-head, which is available a calibration of the linear birefringence, when a fiber optic current sensor was composed, An output characteristics of the 1 cross orthogonal loop form, a general closed loop form, the orthogonal loop form are ...

Ultra wideband current sensor

2016 8th International Conference on Ultrawideband and Ultrashort Impulse Signals (UWBUSIS), 2016
Purpose. A current meter based on the principle of electromagnetic induction is designed to register the current flowing in the lightning rod. The aim of the article is to describe the way of increasing the sensitivity. Methodology. The meter is used for measuring the current pulses with a rise time of 5 ns to 50 ns.

Multichannel high-current-sensitivity all-fiber current sensor

SPIE Proceedings, 2015
In this paper, we demonstrate a novel all-fiber current sensor using ordinary silica fiber and the fiber loop architecture that can be used to improve current sensitivity. In order to improve the efficiency of the sensor and reduce cost, we present a multichannel all-fiber current sensor based on the principle of time-division multiplexing.

Current developments in optical biochemical sensors

Biosensors and Bioelectronics, 1991
By combining modern fibre optics and opto-electronic instrumentation with chemical and biochemical reagent systems, it has become possible to fabricate optical biosensors. The current state of the art in this development is reviewed in this paper. Many developments describe selective and sensitive methods for sensing bioanalytes and it is likely that ...
