On the Calibration of Direct-Current Current Transformers (DCCT) [PDF]
IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 2015 Modern commercial direct-current current transformers (DCCT) can measure currents up to the kA range with accuracies better than 1E-5. We discuss here a DCCT calibration method and its implementation with commercial instruments typically employed in low resistance calibration laboratories.

IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 2004 A current transformer with nominal ratio 10 A to 10 mA, intended for low-frequency applications, was developed. It includes an electronic device to reduce the magnetizing current, and a continuous shield in the secondary winding (coaxial cable) in order to eliminate the effect of stray capacitances. No guard-source is connected to the shield.
