Harmonic Loads Classification by Means of Currents’ Physical Components

open access: yesEnergies, 2019
Electric load identification and classification for smart grid environment can improve the power service for both consumers and producers. The main concept of electric load identification and classification is to disaggregate various loads and categorize

ORTHOGONAL COMPONENTS OF THE THREE-PHASE CURRENT AT ASYMMETRICAL ACTIVE-REACTIVE LOAD IN 4-WIRE CIRCUIT

open access: yesElectrical engineering & Electromechanics, 2016
Purpose. For the unbalanced sinusoidal mode with asymmetric voltage in 3-phase 4-wire to receive the orthogonal 4-component decomposition of 3-phase current, are classified symmetry/asymmetry of active and reactive load elements separately.

Supra and subgingival application of antiseptics or antibiotics during periodontal therapy

open access: yesPeriodontology 2000, EarlyView., 2023
Abstract Periodontal diseases (gingivitis and periodontitis) are characterized by inflammatory processes which arise as a result of disruption of the balance in the oral ecosystem. According to the current S3 level clinical practice guidelines, therapy of patients with periodontitis involves a stepwise approach that includes the control of the patient ...

Problems in Modeling Three-Phase Three-Wire Circuits in the Case of Non-Sinusoidal Periodic Waveforms and Unbalanced Load

open access: yesEnergies
Asymmetry in the supply voltage in three-phase circuits disrupts the flow of currents. This worsens the efficiency of the distribution system and increases the problems in determining the mathematical model of the energy system. Among many power theories,

Currents’-Physical-Component-Based Reactive Power Compensation Optimization in Three-Phase, Four-Wire Systems

open access: yesApplied Sciences
In this paper, we aim to address the limited capacity of compensation devices by enhancing their utilization rate by applying the currents’ physical component (CPC) theory for reactive power optimization in three-phase four-wire systems.

Immunoinflammatory Mechanisms and Biocompatibility of Bioactive Dental Biomaterials: From Fundamental Insights to Clinical Translation

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Surface‐host dialogue at the implant interface governs biological fate and osseointegration. Surface physicochemical properties of titanium (Ti) dental implants, including microgrooves, nanopatterns, nanotopography, roughness, and wettability, modulate the initial adsorption of proteins and the formation of a dynamic biointerface.

Crystal Growth Engineering for Dendrite‐Free Zinc Metal Plating

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This research employed the rare‐earth ion dysprosium (Dy) to modulate aqueous zinc (Zn) metal plating. Integrated multiscale experiments and computational modeling unveiled the preferential adsorption of Dy on specific crystal facets, which activated screw dislocation‐driven Zn growth.

A Periosteum‐Inspired Janus Piezoelectric Scaffold Using Bioenergetic‐Driven H‐Type Vascularization for Diabetic Bone Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A periosteum‐inspired Janus piezoelectric scaffold converts micromechanical forces into electrical signals and synergizes with controlled resveratrol release. This dual action reprograms endothelial metabolism, drives H‑type vessel formation, and restores bone–vessel coupling in diabetic bone defects.

Compensation of Budeanu’s Reactive and Complemented Reactive Currents in Extended Budeanu Theory in 3-Phase 4-Wire Systems Powered by Symmetrical Nonsinusoidal Voltage Source

open access: yesEnergies
The result of continuous efforts in the development of power theory, Budeanu’s power theory was successfully extended. The mathematical description that has been proposed is based on another concept, namely the Currents’ Physical Components (CPC) theory.
