Curve Networks for Surface Reconstruction
Man-made objects usually exhibit descriptive curved features (i.e., curve networks). The curve network of an object conveys its high-level geometric and topological structure. We present a framework for extracting feature curve networks from unstructured point cloud data.

Change of transition curve type in reconstruction of railway lines [PDF]
The importance of applying transition curves in railway design was recognized as early as the nineteenth century, with the development of railway transport. Railway lines in Serbia were originally designed using the cubic parabola as the transition curve.

Period and signal reconstruction from the curve of trains of samples
A finite sequence of equidistant samples (a sample‐train) of a periodic signal can be identified with a point in a multidimensional space. Such a point depends on the signal, the sampling period, and the starting time of the sequence.

Euclidean and affine curve reconstruction
We consider practical aspects of reconstructing planar curves with prescribed Euclidean or affine curvatures. These curvatures are invariant under the special Euclidean group and the equi-affine groups, respectively, and play an important role in computer vision and shape analysis.

Single View Reconstruction of Curved Surfaces
Recent advances in single-view reconstruction (SVR) have been in modelling power (curved 2.5D surfaces) and automation (automatic photo pop-up). We extend SVR along both of these directions. We increase modelling power in several ways: (i) We represent general 3D surfaces, rather than 2.5D Monge patches; (ii) We describe a closed-form method to ...

Trajectory Reconstruction Techniques for Evaluation of ATC Systems [PDF]
This paper is focused on trajectory reconstruction techniques for evaluating ATC systems, using real data of recorded opportunity traffic. We analyze different alternatives for this problem, from traditional interpolation approaches based on curve ...

Curve Reconstruction In Different Cubic Functions Using Differential Evolution
This paper discusses the comparison on using two types of curves for curve reconstruction. Differential Evolution (DE) is used to optimize the parameter in the related spline function.

Three-Dimensional Curve Reconstruction Based on Material Frame and Twisted Multicore Fiber
We propose a curve reconstruction model based on material frame and twisted multicore fiber (MCF), which can reconstruct the position and orientation of MCF simultaneously.
