Development of Fault Diagnosis Model for Sucker Rod Pump Using Motor Power Curve
2021 XVIII International Scientific Technical Conference Alternating Current Electric Drives (ACED), 2021A real time diagnostic system development for detecting sucker rod pump working conditions is current demand for most oil producers because of significant expenses related to costs of labor and consequent damages when a fault is not identified timely.

Nonlinear bending-torsion model for curved rods with little regularity
Mathematics and Mechanics of Solids, 2015In this paper we extend the formulation of the equilibrium problem for the nonlinear bending-torsion theory for curved rods on rods with rectifiable middle curve. We also prove the existence of solutions for the associated boundary value problem when the middle curve is piecewisely smooth.

Derivation of the model of elastic curved rods from three-dimensional micropolar elasticity
Annali dellNULLUniversità di Ferrara. Sezione 7: Scienze matematiche, 2007In this paper we derive a model of curved elastic rods from the three-dimensional linearized micropolar elasticity. Derivation is based on the asymptotic expansion method with respect to the thickness of the rod. The method is used without any a priori assumption on the scaling of the unknowns.

A general asymptotic model for Lipschitzian curved rods
2004In this paper we show that the asymptotic methods provide an advantageous approach to obtain models of thin elastic bodies under minimal regularity assumptions on the geometry. Our investigation is devoted to clamped curved rods with a nonsmooth line of centroids and the obtained model is a generalization of results already available in the literature.

A Model of Irregular Curved Rods
2002In this paper we derive a model of curved elastic rods with a piecewise smooth middle curve from the model of curved rods with smooth middle curves. The obtained model is the same as the model of junction of two straight rods derived directly from the three--dimensional linearized elasticity.

Evolution model of curved rods
2000Predmet ovog rada je izvod i opravdanje jednodimenzionalnih modela u teoriji elastičnosti. Promatramo problem gibanja tankog lineariziranog elastičnog zakrivljenog štapa, te pripadnu svojstvenu zadaću. Rad je sastavljen iz tri poglavlja. U prvom poglavlju donosimo osnovne rezultate dobivene za problem ravnoteže lineariziranog elastičnog zakrivljenog ...

Abstract Hanger installation is important in constructing self-anchored suspension bridges. The installation plan is obtained from comparative studies of concerned information in tentative construction steps. The comparisons are generally performed manually using detailed nonlinear finite element method (NFEM), particularly for those with 3D curved ...

A XY Spin Chain Models on Space Curves and Analogy with Kirchhoff Rods
2007A XY Heisenberg spin chain model with two perpendicular spins par site is mapped onto a Kirchhoff thin elastic rod. It is shown that in the case of constant curvature the Euler—Lagrange equation leads to the static sine-Gordon equation. The case of a double-helical DNA-like configuration corresponds to two interacting Heisenberg spin chains and the ...

An asymptotic non-linear model for thin-walled rods with strongly curved open cross-section
International Journal of Non-Linear Mechanics, 2006Abstract In this paper, we present a non-linear one-dimensional model for thin-walled rods with open strongly curved cross-section, obtained by asymptotic methods. A dimensional analysis of the non-linear three-dimensional equilibrium equations lets appear dimensionless numbers which reflect the geometry of the structure and the level of applied ...
