Curved channel flow with stenoses and aneurysms [PDF]
Curvature is everywhere, in man or nature made devices. Its implication on physiological flows may be as important as other inertial or viscous effects.

Moiré Phase Mapping in Twisted Bilayer Liquid Crystals with Reconfigurable Light Polarization States
Twisted bilayer liquid crystals are developed by vertical stacking assembly of two liquid crystals having designer domains and optical properties. These moiré‐symmetry, twisted liquid crystals demonstrate reconfigurable polarization states, moiré patterns and phases controlled by twist angles, providing a route to design active optical devices for ...

Bifunctional Catalysis Drives Efficient and Ethanol‐Producing Aqueous Zn‐CO2 Batteries
A unified bifunctional catalyst breaks the trade‐off between CO2 reduction and O2 evolution, delivering high efficiency, ethanol production, and long‐term stability in Zn‐CO2 batteries while revealing degradation pathways for next‐generation bifunctional electrocatalysts.

Poly(Alkoxythiophene) Rod‐Coil Block Copolymers for Organic Electrochemical Transistors
We present the first synthesis of poly(3‐alkoxythiophene) rod‐coil block copolymers as a new architecture for OMIECs. Incorporating PEG and PLLA coils can enhance device performance beyond the homopolymer. The figure‐of‐merit depends uniquely on coil length.

Size-dependent brittle-to-ductile transition in GaAs nano-rods
GaAs is brittle at room temperature at the macro-scale; however, ductility emerges when its characteristic dimension reduces to the nano-scale. Using molecular dynamics simulations, we reveal that there is a brittle-to-ductile transition in GaAs nano ...

A mechanochemically synthesized dual‐site electrocatalyst (RuNC@Fe1NC) accelerates alkaline hydrogen evolution via atomic‐level spatial decoupling. Oxophilic Fe single atoms effectively dissociate water, while adjacent Ru nanoclusters rapidly recombine hydrogen.
