p-adic uniformization of elliptic curves [PDF]

open access: yes
openThis thesis studies elliptic curves on various fields to gain a deeper understanding of Tate’s p-adic uniformisation theorem. The first chapter consists of an overview on elliptic curves with their properties, for example the Group Law, and elliptic ...

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

A Generalization of the Hyers-Ulam-Aoki Type Stability of Some Banach Lattice -Valued Functional Equation

open access: yesExtracta Mathematicae, 2018
We obtained a generalization of the stability of some Banach lattice-valued functional equation with the addition replaced in the Cauchy functional equation by lattice operations and their combinations.

Engineered extracellular vesicles enriched with the miR‐214/199a cluster enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy in ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Characterization of non-connected Buchsbaum curves in P^n

open access: yesLe Matematiche, 1999
In this paper we characterize non-connected Buchsbaum curves C in P^n and we give a sharp bound for the number of disjoint connected components of C.

Minimal Curves on Ruled Surfaces Generated by Legendre Curves

open access: yesJournal of New Theory
In this paper, we study the conditions under which Legendre curves on ruled surfaces are classified as minimal loci. By investigating the scenario where the directive curve is a binormal vector, we establish the criteria for these curves to have minimal ...

Relationship between Speed and Lateral Position on Curves, September 2012

open access: yes, 2012
Excessive speed is often cited as a primary driver factor in crashes, particularly rural two-lane crashes. It has also been suggested that speed plays a significant role in crashes on curves. However, the relationship between speed and crashes on curves

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

Moduli of symplectic bundles over curves [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Let Х be a complex projective smooth irreducible curve of genus g. We begin by giving background material on symplectic vector bundles and principal bundles over X and introduce the moduli spaces we will be studying, In Chapter 2 we describe the stable ...

IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.
