Hecke actions on certain strongly modular genera of lattices
We calculate the action of some Hecke operators on spaces of modular forms spanned by the Siegel theta-series of certain genera of strongly modular lattices closely related to the Leech lattice.

Cusp forms of weight 3/2 [PDF]
In this paper we deal with the problem (C) in § 4 of [4]. Let Ik be the Shimura mapping in [4] of Sk(4N, χ) into k-1(N′ χ2) (see p. 458). The problem (C) can be stated as follows: I3(f) is a cusp form if and only if ‹f, h› = 0 for all h ∈ U, where U is the vector space spanned by every theta series of S3(4N, χ) associated with some Dirichlet character.

Strength through diversity: how cancers thrive when clones cooperate
Intratumor heterogeneity can offer direct benefits to the tumor through cooperation between different clones. In this review, Kuiken et al. discuss existing evidence for clonal cooperativity to identify overarching principles, and highlight how novel technological developments could address remaining open questions.

On the arithmetic nature of coefficients of multiplicative eta-functions
In the article we study the arithmetic nature of the coefficients of multiplicative eta-products, also called McKay functions. For some functions it is possible to establish Hecke correspondence between the coefficients of McKay and Hecke grossen ...

The protoconid: a key cusp in lower molars. Evidence from a recent modern human population
Background The molar (M) size sequence in the genus Homo is decreasing and the general pattern in Homo sapiens is M1> M2 > M3. Aim To gain a better understanding of the reduction patterns of M components (cusps), we aim to assess the area of the ...

Hecke operators on Drinfeld cusp forms
In this paper, we study the Drinfeld cusp forms for $ _1(T)$ and $ (T)$ using Teitelbaum's interpretation as harmonic cocycles. We obtain explicit eigenvalues of Hecke operators associated to degree one prime ideals acting on the cusp forms for $ _1(T)$ of small weights and conclude that these Hecke operators are simultaneously diagonalizable.

Rethinking plastic waste: innovations in enzymatic breakdown of oil‐based polyesters and bioplastics
Plastic pollution remains a critical environmental challenge, and current mechanical and chemical recycling methods are insufficient to achieve a fully circular economy. This review highlights recent breakthroughs in the enzymatic depolymerization of both oil‐derived polyesters and bioplastics, including high‐throughput protein engineering, de novo ...

Non-vanishing of $L$-functions associated to cusp forms of half-integral weight
In this article, we prove non-vanishing results for $L$-functions associated to holomorphic cusp forms of half-integral weight on average (over an orthogonal basis of Hecke eigenforms). This extends a result of W.

Comparative analysis of chloroplast genomes from 14 genera of Thymelaeaceae revealed variation in gene content, ranging from 128 to 142 genes, primarily influenced by IR expansion/contraction events and pseudogenization of ndhF, ndhI, and ndhG. Two large inversions were detected within the large single‐copy region, including a synapomorphic inversion ...

The sum of a hybrid arithmetic function over a sparse sequence
Let $ \lambda_{f}(n) $ be the $ n $-th normalized Fourier coefficient of $ f $, which is a primitive holomorphic cusp form of even integral weight $ k\geq2 $ for the full modular group $ SL_2(\mathbb{Z}) $.
